Pricesmart Foods has utility turkeys for $0.77 per pound. Rip the skin off and trim all the fat before cooking and you have a super cheap source of protein without too much fat. I like cook the nonwhite meat separately a little longer then pat it down with some napkins to remove some more fat. Comes out to about a buck a serving.
Hell, if you want some cranberry sauce with it, add a bit of water to some frozen cranberries, bring to a simmer, throw in a tablespoon or two of sour cream and bit of splenda and you've got yourself some pretty decent cranberry sauce without much sugar or fat.

Yes, whole frozen turkeys. It's in their flyer so I assume all stores should have it for that much - I picked up 4 of them at the one near Lougheed Mall. Today is the last day I believe.
Edit: Just check their site and it looks like only the Cameron, Grandview, and King Edward stores have them for $0.77 a pound. Elsewhere it's $1.27.

I saw an old Chinese woman with about 10 in her cart; probably stocked up for an entire year. I would have bought a few more if I had more room in the freezer.
