Very weak card. UFC 79 was great though. I haven't missed an event for the last 3 years but I may skip this one.

Stevenson is over rated and the way BJ looked on the countdown was very impressive. He actually has some motive to train now. I think he will go a long way. It almost seemed like he was over training. The thing that is scary about him is that he has almost come out with wins when he was fighting at half his potential, he came close with GSP, close with Hughes just gassed out. When he was in good shape he killed Pulver, but I don't put Pulver and a guy like GSP in the same class.

I really hope the fight doesn't go to decision, thats what pissed me off about Sherk, the dude could not put anyone away. And the fact he was on nandrolone was ****ed up. Hermes was on masteron too if I remember right, but at least he came clean with it asap.

I'm calling BJ round 3 - rear naked choke
Gonzaga TKO round 2

Hope Grove gets his ass beat down. But unfortunately Rivera sucks. I can't wait to see Brock Lesnar fight Frank Mirr.

I think Mir and Lesnar are the next UFC, and yeah this card is garbage. Ah well, some of the worst cards have produced the best fights........though im not thinking thats going to happen lol.

He's far from fat bro! he's actually an accomplished collegiate wrestler and has been training all aspects of MMA for 3 years or so. I think he will be a force at HW, he is quick and agile, I already saw him fight in... I forget what league... WEC maybe, he looked sharp. As of right now the only person I even like at HW is Nog. Mirko was a huge letdown. ****ing Fedor pussied out. And Couture went holywood... what he is thinking is beyond me.

I am looking forward to Dan Henderson fighting Silva, I think Silva will dismantle him though. I wonder what Rich Franklin's going to do. He knows he is out classed by Silva, I like him though. He should drop to 170.

Yeah for sure.
There is no one at 170 who can hang with GSP right now. His weakness is just his mental game but from what I hear he is getting better. He always says losing to Serra was the best thing that happened to him, for his mental game. Lets hope so.

This is the last UFC PPV for $39.95, UFC 81 will be $44.95

Stevenson is no slouch on teh ground folks, he's not too far off of bj's level. Don't get me wrong penn is my hero, but both has an amazing ground game.

Stevenson is a beast on the ground but Penn is just better... at everything imo. Joe could def win, not putting it past him.

That is BS that ppv will be 44.95... **** Zuffa.

Very underestimated card, glad i put out the money...the first three fights ended in KO and were fast and furious....to bad for Joe Stevenson, great guy, great fighter, he just got outclassed by the new and improved BJ Penn. Gotta give it Joe though, he's got a ton of heart and he left a gallon of blood on the mat.
