I remember see McGrath at the gym when I was 17. He woulda been about 20, and even then had absolutely insane forearms.

How do these guys get so vascular? Is it just genetics?

Genetics definatly play a factor for sure. But so does being really lean.

haha was just bout to post the same thing!! easier to do when you have shorter limbs...sorry didn't mean "easier" per say, still a stupid amount of kick ass work goes in of course!!!
I was going to say, Frank is 5'11" and has much longer limbs, so they are even more so impressive.

Priest is gonna be hard to beat when he competes in the 202 class.
that is effed up.
is there particular compounds that make you crazy vascular? I remember hearing that EQ might play a role? Tren maybe?

See, I know where you are coming from but as a short guy I hear this all the time "Oh it's easier for you to bench and squat because you don't have to move the weight as far. Less muscle looks more impressive on short people"
I will accept that but then the inverse has to be true as well, if you are over 6' tall you had better be 290lbs+ and have 22" arms.
I'm fine with that. That's why I'll never compete. lol
But if you are taller, the bicep is longer, and one ince in circumference is more bicep than someone who is shorter with shorter arms? Does that make sense? lol I'm just making a guess.
Like if you have a bicep that is say 4" long, and 20" circumference, and you have a 6" long bicep with 20" circumference, technically you'll have a lot more volume in the longer bicep. So if they both increase by 1", really the longer bicep is putting o na lot more muscle.
I dont need to be 290 lbs because Im 6'1. Why you ask?
Because Im 6'1, and I dont care.

I agree (and I hope you didn't take that other post personally), but there is so much more potential for growth and strength in the 6"x20" bicep.
No, didn't take it personal, but it is how I feel about myself, I feel I'm tall and lanky and would look skinny next to a guy 5'6"-5'9" on stage.

Granted my opinion comes from a powerlifting/ strength training background so when I see all you damn tall people I don't imagine myself on stage I imagine competing against you at atlas stones or tire flip or any of the things that being short isn't useful for.

He must be close to 6 ft tall. He has the craziest forearms I have ever seen.
^^ I think he's talking about the second picture posted

Ya, Hazbin is about 6' tall...it's just the angle the pic was taken at. Aslo, Hazbin's arm is bent, McGrath's is straight for the most part.
Here's a different angle...
...wow...thats all i have to say

Watch out for loose paper floating around.... Yikes!!
Although, I do like being vascular.... I'd pull it back, as that's a tad too much for me.
if the pic 2up is Hazbin, not impressed. Sure he's VERY vascular, however in that photo... Looks more emmacated, as I would (as many others would) expect a much larger arm to sport such freaky veigns. Perhaps it's the angle that implies a smaller man, at a glance I would say at least 50% of the active members here are larger and (minus the vasclarity) sport more impressive guns.
My .02 cents. :>

Well, you have to realize that these pics were taken in contest shape...very low BF. Hazbin has no problem getting big and yes, I'd say bigger than most on here. Compare his arms to two of Canada's top pro's. (unfortunately a severe lower back injury prevents him from being able train his legs hard these days)
