ive notices in the last 2 weeks on one glute that theres a bit of alump developing im wondering cuz i injects 2ccs at a time .....or if im not going deep enough im using 25g 1inch, but my other ass cheeks is fine....so im wondering if maybe its scar tissue , or the oil trapped in fat deposit and if i should start using 1.5 inch....?

Is it growing? Are you rotating sites? Redness? Pain?

You should be using 1.5" in glutes and going in all the way. After inject, massage the spot to disperse the oil.

I'm assuming this lump is not especially painful or inflamed. If so, just inject elsewhere until it goes away since it's probably just an oil pocket.

Those two lines are KEY elements. Please follow the advise.

I use 1" for glutes all the time..I have yet to use a 1.5 er......I think massaging that area to disperse the oil works ;)

I use 1 inch as well...never had a problem....never over 1.5 per area though, more oil, more it has to dissipate :)

don't forget to warm it up, to help the oil dissipate quicker, less chance of a build causing that lump, and Yes it will eventually go away on it's on. just don't inject that spot again for a while. I doubt it' scar tissue....it's your body telling you stay away from that area till it heal properly.

Im just being a dick cause im dealing with drama. Im just effing with you dude.

I always use a 1" needle for glutes. 25g as well. Try getting a travel roller muscle relaxer. You lean your whole body weight on it and it helps break down existing scar tissue and remove built up toxins burried deep in muscle. It hurts like a mother ****er when you do it, but it works well.

Alternate. Actually I would stay away from that spot for awhile.

It can be oil not being absorbed properly due to scar tissue in the area or just scar tissue itself. Time to get friendly with your quads or delts.

1" is enough for me.

I think that is GSXR's motto but I think he is referring to something else. :)

Sounds like a sterile abscess. I get a few in my glutes after a while. It will likely take 3+ weeks to fully dissipate...Try getting a magic bag or heating pad and apply heat 2x a day to help disperse the oil...

I've always read to NEVER massage the injection site as it will INCREASE your risk of infection. Here's some posts I could find on it from some other boards. Don't know the truth in these matters I'll look into it if a big debate occurs, but IMO don't do it.

"massaging the area where you just injected requires pushing on the muscle that is full of the oil you just injected, keep in mind that there is a hole in the muscle and the oil is some-what compressed in there, so pushing on it will just send the oil back up the hole you created and spread it through the dermis and subcutaneous layers of the skin where you don't want it. Even though you aspirated and everything is fine to inject in the muscle, you may have gone through a vein or blood vessel on the way to the muscle, so when the oil comes back up, into the blood stream it goes.

Picture the oil still being in the syringe, it stays in there freely on its own, but if you push the plunger it comes out because you are creating pressure, even if you don't touch the plunger, but just push on the sides of the syringe, (as if you were massaging the muscle) it would still come out of the needle. "

"This is the last post i will make on this subject. Massaging the area of a shot immediately afterward WILL drive the depot out of the area into places you don't want it. Increasing the chance that you will develop Pain or an abscess.

What you can do is use pressure if you need to stop bleeding, but never rub it. the z track method will usually make it so you don't need compression to stem the blood flow.

The only time you should be applying heat is if the depot has crashed and you're sure of that. if it's an abscess using heat will only make it worse, use ice and get it drained ASAP, also take a broad spectrum antibiotic. Sepsis is not a laughing matter."
