View Full Version : Chickened out - no pain tolerance in calf :(

So I tried a pin in the calf....and tried again...and both times its hurting so bad I couldn't go through with it.

How do you guys who do calfs and forearms do it?? half a bottle of rum first??? Yikes!

So anyway, i feel like a wimp now and wanted to share my newfound respect for those with a higher threshold for pain than myself.

okay, so I don't do drugs..... but why the hell would you need to inject your calf?

Forearms? What the hell? Calves, some do because they believe in site enhancement. I only talked to a few guys and they said the pain it caused them was enough to only try it once.

Successfully did both calves a number of yrs ago and never again, literally couldn't walk for a few days! not worth it!

I'm the opposite of most, I absolutely love pinning calves. Feels great! First time was a little sore, but it feels like a nice good stretch. Never tried forearms though??

I was talking to a guy who has nice calf development who said he believes site injections helped (as well has heavy frequent work on them)...so I figured I'd try it - I didn't really have anything to lose.

So yeah, I tried it....and not trying it again.

I agree with the guy about the heavy frequent training only because the calves get worked everyday with your body weight at high reps, so they need to be shocked into growth with some heavy ass weight imo.........but as far as the site injections go, it's a myth!....with anything other than SYNTHOL :)

I'd love a couple more spots to rotate my injections through but I'm thinking it will be traps or lats. Calfs scare me.

I think forearms would be fun to try one day. Maybe like a 1/4 or .5cc. 5/8 pin

why bother?
i would stick to 3cc glute and ventroglute......easy peasy.....if i used steroids that is.

Glutes are hard for me to reach for some reason. I can never keep my hand steady.

Love quads and delts. Throw in some pecs once in a while. G2G.

I still want to try traps and lats.

I like site rotation.
