Good long time brother of mine didn't wake up this morning. Anyone know how long an autopsy usually takes? Since he died in his sleep they are gonna cut him up a bit to find out why he died.

Thanks for the info.

Sorry to hear that man.

You are fortunate that you'll be able to know what caused his death, and have some closure. My uncle recently passed away and they wouldn't do an autopsy unless we payed for it. The US is so ****ed up.

To ease my mind and heart I like to think it was just his time. At least he didn't suffer. You can say the same for your friend, it's the best way to leave this world if you have to.

Thanks for the sentiments guys. Appreciate. No big deal though. This brother wouldn't want anyone mourning him, so I refuse too. He was a rad dude, who gotter done.

I was just curious cuz next week i'm gonna fly out to London, ON for the funeral, but I cannot do that until the autopsy, etc is finished.

Autopsy's usually take a few hours, and you can get results within a week. If you're in contact with the hospital directly, you should be able to get an idea of timing from them.

Toxicology can take a few weeks as witnessed by the MJ ordeal.
Hopefully the initial autopsy will provide enough evidence.
