What kind of trucks you folks liking these days?? They have sure changed a lot over the past couple of yrs...We were determined to buy a new Ford,BUT
we went into the dodge dealer a couple wknds ago, and wow are the new dodges ever sweet.......
So we bought a new one...Best truck ive ever driven so far...
5.7 hemi 395 horse, 405 ft/lbs of torque stock...add in a k and N system and chip...wow...K and N alone over 400 horses, around 425 or so now i believe...
The interiors are unreal, and no more rough ride due to fully redesigned suspension, sharp looking to.....
Multi displacement system on the engine so it runs on 4 cylinders when required...
20 inch rims, dual exhaust...we bought the sport model sweeeet.
close to 30 mpg.....
so what are you guys into these days...??

My friend just got a new F150 and it is really nice. Very roomy. I secretly like Ridgelines but only a dirty communist would drive a foreign vehicle.

I happen to like the fact that my truck is thirty years old and can still out off-road most new trucks that cost 30 x's what mine did.

You are correct!!

Dodge has made tremendous changes to their line of trucks and cars.
I owned a Ram 1500 in my late 20s, ****ing gorgeous....now a days the ram 1500 has the HEMI option along with a gas smart engine too.

LOTS of great modifications to trucks in the new millenium.

Dammit... thought this was a thread about Nascar lol.

As far as trucks go right now I woudlnt buy anything other than the Tundra, everything Toyota makes is amazing! especially when it comes to v8's the 1UZ in my '96 Lexus SC400 still gets 24mpg!

I really dont see any reason to buy domestic vehicle unless you like poor workmanship, large gaps between body pannels and cheap looking interiors.

Thing are getting better now that the domestics realize they cant compete selling people crap anymore but I would still wait a year or two before buying anything domestic Ford/Chevy are already starting to make better cars but I think it might be worth waiting a year or two if you want to buy domestic.

im not a dealer...lol...i was really amazed and happy to see some decent quality now..

The new mustangs are actually super nice, the interiors are getting better these days on domestics but if you've sat in a newer Audi or Lexus you know they have a ways to go at least they arent making the dash out of action figure plastic anymore lol.

My dad is looking to buy a new truck for next summer we got all winter for test drives so hopefully we can find something, dont imagine I could ever convince him to drive a Dodge tho lol.

New F150 is mighty sexy and that is the truck I am leaning towards. Might wait a year to get one used or might opt for a my friend's F350. Apparently the F350 is not the best for towing horse trailers, but for a good price I will deal with a few bumps.

Turbo Tourist is the truck master when it comes to maintenance, depreciation, etc.
