How much T4 = T3?

I have been searching around and can find it's about 4:1. So 25mcg of T3 gives similar results to 100mcg of T4.

Is this correct?

I think 100mcg of T4 can become 25mcg of T3...but thats not certain. I'd rather go for straight T3 to be sure you know. Why'd you buy T4?

You won't attain supraphysiological levels of T3 by using T4. T4 is a precursor to T3 and your body will stop converting it once it reaches homeostasis.

If your thyroid is ****ed up right now then T4 will do you some good. Other than that, not so much. I know people who use a combination of the two but I would just keep it simple and use the T3. No sense in beating around the bush.... but if the price is right...

i've been doing some research and i'm just going to stick to T3. Its worked well for me in the past, no need to fix what's not broken! i had just never really even looked at T4 until now. thanks for the replies!
