Curious to know what you all are paying/selling per pound for your free weights?

I have around 500 +/- in Nautilus steel plates, 45's down to 2.5's and so on that I just don't use anymore....

Thanks ppl

I cleared out a lot of my plates in favour of bumpers earlier this year.
Retail is about $1/pound.

I got rid of about 500 pounds of mine at between .50 and .80 a pound on the local flea market web sites.

I'm not sure about the traffic on craiglist in Alberta, but here in Toronto.. plates don't usually last more than a day before they are sold, most people are selling them for between $0.70lb - $0.90/lb. You may want to give that a go.

I got my training bumpers from wright rubber with shipping it was
about 3$/pound. They aren't competition bumpers but I can drop an overhead press or powerclean without worrying about hurting my shoulders.

I was a little stupid in my shopping I bought:
2-5 pound technique plates (good buy)
2-10 pound bumper (not necessary use steel)
2-15 pound bumpers (again 5+10 = 15)
2 - 25 pound bumpers ( good buy )
2 - 35 pound bumpers ( 25+10 = 25 ) - oops
6 - 45 pound bumpers ( wright didn'g make 25kg / 55 pound bumpers) - but garagegym does and they are narrower - can get 660 on the bar.

I'll be buying my 25kg bumpers from GarageGym as they now have a reseller in Alberta and likely selling 4-45's, 2-15's and 2-35s off on kijiji etc.

If you were closer to me I'd take some of that off of your hands, I only have 425lbs in olympic plates at home. Then again my wife gets scared when I bench anything over 300lbs.
