Anyone else get this?

I was running 200mg caffeine, 24mg ephedrine 3x/day, and I noticed that even when I took the EC 4 hours prior to training I still got nauseous really easily (I'm talking like doing a set of bench, waiting 30 seconds, doing a set of DB rows, waiting 30 secs, and repeating). Cardio was out of the question except in the morning before my first dose too, so it kind of put a damper on the whole cutting cycle.

I did find that if I left the ephedrine out of my last dose and only took the 200mg caffeine, I didn't get nauseous though.

Anyone else experience this? Do you think it would be beneficial to try taking lower doses more frequently throughout the day? Like 100mg caffeine and 12mg ephedrine 6x/day instead of 200/24mg 3x/day? I never had a chance to try that, it's just something I thought of now and I was hoping someone else might have experience with it in the event I used ECA again in the spring.

Thanks!

Yeah, kinda... the two at those doses generally made me feel pretty cracked out.

How long have you been running the eca for? I always get like this in the begining but it goes away.

For sure start with a lower dose. The caffeine can usually be taken empty stomach, but the ephedrine when you have stomach problems with it, take it mid meal. Nausea problem solved!

Ya i started getting this too but i've lower the doses and started taking it with a very small meal. I also cut out the A and just take an EC. Now don't have this problem anymore.

I ran the ECA for 6 weeks in June/July, and I got the nausea right until the last day I ran the full dose. The only way I found I could prevent feeling sick was either to take 3-5min rest between sets, and not do cardio except for first thing in the morning.

Initially I did actually start with 2 doses/day of 200mg caffeine, 24mg ephedrine, which I had no problems with. It was only when I ramped it up to 3 doses/day I started getting problems. It was weird too, no jittering or anything after a couple days, but the nausea never went away.

Are you talking about lowering each dose but taking it more often (eg. 100mg/12mg 6x/day instead of 200mg/24mg 3x/day) or did you mean just taking less in total?

How much do you end up taking over the course of a full day?

Right now i'm taking 150mg/24mg 2x/day

I also found that 2 doses of ephedrine @ 24mg was the maximum I could take without nausea. Thanks for the reply!
