I was wondering who uses them? How often do you use them?
I have had knee problems for most of my life. I picked a set today.

I have a set but haven't used them for anything but compression bandages yet.
I'm giving the idea of using a belt for max doubles and singles soon though.
PR'ed 340 @ 225 this afternoon.
I use them on heavier sets. My old, creaky knees need a little support.

My knees don't need support but this is the second time I've pulled my quad pushing a PR. Do the wraps help with quad strains?
Can't say they help me with quad strains - I've gotten strains while using them. They sure help me with ligament issues though. I've found that strains heal in about a week or so, while ligaments (at 44) can take weeks, so wraps are necessary when squatting heavy.

of course
I did: squats: 135x15
225x12
275x10
295x10
315x8
my knee wont usually let me go much over 250.
315 is the most I have ever had on my back! And I use to do 1 rep max squats!
Actually, I was referring to your question about PR'ed. Good weights you're pushing there Bro!

Anyone else care to voice an opinion here?
I put them on when I'm squatting 500 + .

I've got knee issues also , but they're not bad when I stick to squatting and pressing . They get really bad when I start running or jarring them around in different activities. I blew out my knee two summers ago and it took me about 8-12 months of self theropy to get them back to where I could squat , but it was squatting that made them heal up.

Have always had loose ligaments, have blown out one of my knees and seriously strained the other. I use inzer wraps on heavy sets, but try and go without for the rest.
I have heard that wraps can be hard on your knees as it compresses the knee cap and doesn't let it travel, is there any truth to this?

Anyone know where one might buy knee wraps? I cant go deep with anything over 315 without my knees feeling terrible... id like to try these.
^ Are you sure you're not bending them in or out when you squat?

When I was in Van I bought some good wraps at Reflex. $30.

Pretty sure.... they usually dont hurt til after a heavy set and they make all these crazy grinding and popping noises... doesnt sound healthy.

Wraps are my bread and butter unfortunately, wish they weren't! blew both my knees out (at separate) times when I used to be into competitive Moto-x racing. Took a stupidly long time for them to heal so I could get back into doing my leg work...needles to say my legs definitely show it...... :( ......but they are coming along ;)
