Where are all the ****ing jobs though? All them Alberta mother ****ers comming here taken em i hear......lol

im from estevan and ya way too many alberta ****ers coming down since its so slow out there right now.

You guys need welders/fabricators over there?

i am a directional driller down here- its pretty nice living back in estevan because im home every night, not like 90 percent of the guys in this job who drive 8 hours to go to work. there/s prolly a few jobs for welders do-all is always hiring guys and supreme oilfield needs pipeline welders i think
its a little slow still but after christmas is supposed to get pretty busy

Yup , saskatoon man here. Im lucky to be working on a rig in Watrous aprox 1 hour out so not too bad but yes jobs descent paying jobs are scarce for sure

Saskatoon Area. Work rigs. No work since last October, been welding local. Gotta find a rig soon...Derrickhand position with mudman experience...can't wait till things pick up.

ya i have worked derrick for 6 years but took a motors job on a telly double , easy gig but were supposed to get shut down in 4 more weeks...holding onto that cash for sure as the future looks bleak right now
