I dont use these, but after my latest injury, I believe i need to strengthen some of my lower back, and core stabilizers. The one arm row is fairly common, but I had no idea it incorportated just a vast amount of muslces. Im going to get these going instead of a traditional row, just wondering what kind of success ppl may have had using these consistantly. Thnx,

great for building some thick lats......i alternate these with chest supported rows and my bench has been reaping the benefits of my heavy lat work!

Awesome would be an understatement... I can`t do them due to an injury, but they are great!

I like bent over single arm db rows, the kind you do with 1 knee/hand on the bench the cable stacks at my gym arent heavy enough to row with anymore sadly.

The downfall of this exercise... my gym only goes up to 120lbers, although that is a challenge for me, i dont like having a ceiling on any of my lifts, i feel it prevents my growth, so i stick to bent over bb rows.

I do them all the time, and I hate that exercise the most.

While not exactly the same, you can load one end of an olympic bar and do a one armed lever row.

I read this right before i went to the gym and I noticed we have DBs from 5->125 and then 1 pair of 150s... must take alot of reps with the 125s to get upto the 150s lol.

Ive typically used chest support t-bar, close grip cable, some wide grip cable, some close grip (one side olympic bar loaded between the legs). My back is the best part of me, so im going to go straight into these cause of all that core involved. Looks like the feedback is all positive.

my gym sucks, 100 lbs is max for DB, then some crappy ass welded ghette "130" that looks like a retarded meathead would look cool lifting them. I have to change gyms. I can stack every machine and DB, the only place i can progress is on free weight bar movements like presses/deads/squats. whish EVERY gym has.

the cable stacks at my gym go to 250 and 300, DB's up to 150, etc. I can choose from single or double pulley sets lol guess im spoiled.

I'm really a fan of cables for really any body part or exercise.

All I really do for back is row type movements. I have a bad shoulder and any heavy pulldown work puts me out for a few days after in some good pain. All rows Im good for though. I like one arm DB rows I do them all the time. I also do one arm cable rows, they hit the lats hard too. But my back workout will usually consist of 3-4 rowing movements plus chins and light pulldowns at the end or straight arm pulldowns with a rope attchment.

Started up with the one arm cable rows. Went for about 75 pounds, full lean forward and back (no momentum lifting tho) and really got a good all around burn. I like these... surprised I overlooked them for so long

good exercise those 1-arm cable rows are! i used to do them all the time and just recently put the 1-arm DB pulls in there, like them both.

I am nursing a bad lower back for now but I will eventually get into the DB rows sometime. They are good. I do like the core involvement in the cables a lot too tho
