View Full Version : 2nd Cycle - Dbol Finisher?

So the second cycle I was keeping extra simple:

1-12 750mg Test E
4-18 1mg EOD Adex

Currently 5'11 ~220lb 20% bf. Ideally I'd like to get down to 10% over the 12 weeks (~6000 cal weekly deficit) and keep my strength where it's at. Other than the test I'll just be using a simple EC stack.


Now apparently there were some delays with my order so there's some dbol on it's way also. I'm not real keen on starting the cycle with dbol, mainly because I want to see when/how my body responds to the Test E by itself. But since the dbol is on it's way anyway... has anyone used dbol/drol/test-susp at the end of a long ester cycle to "bridge the gap" before PCT begins? I don't know if I'm overlooking some HPTA info... but everything seems kosher to do so, opinions?

I'll also try and snap some before pictures and get em posted up here. Good thing about being nice and plump... the before/after's look sexy haha.

dont add dbol to your cycle.

you need to diet...doubt you will drop 10% BF in 12 weeks....if you do....kudos!

^I agree, you don't need the dbol and I'd personally drop the bf before cycle. No use making it complicated just run the test and save the rest for another cycle.

if you are on a diet to lose that much weight that is waaay more than enough test to help keep muscle and the dbol isnt going to help you put on more muscle if you arent eating to do that

The main goal of the cycle is to keep my strength and drop the unnecessary weight for winter amateur grappling competitions. Could I get away with 500mg/week instead of 750? From reading other cycles I was under the impression 750mg would be the best dose since I'm not running any other compounds along side.

I was only considering the dbol for the last 2-3 weeks while I'm waiting for the Test E to dissipate to keep the strength up before PCT begins. But I'll follow the advice :P Keep it simple, save the dbol for next time.

I kind of get the feeling dbol should stay out of a cutting cycle... any particular reason? Other than some bloat (I guess that'd be bad for bb'ers). I'll probably never drop below 9-10% bf simply because there's no real need for me to do so atm... so the "hardening" cutting compounds I thought would be lost on me :P

Please share your meal plan and training ideas, as this is what will have the most bearing on your results.

750mg of Test is too much, even for a second bulking cycle.. 500 is plenty, and you're dieting..

Training is essentially a modified WSFSB (westside for skinny bastards). Basics are:

Mon - Plyos (Ballistic training 4 exercises ~45min)
Tues - Upper Body "Push Day" (shoulder/chest/tri exercises)
Wed - No Weights
Thurs - Lower Strength Day (5x5 Squat/Dead/Jackhammer? and hamstring work - yay ACL reconstructs!)
Fri - Upper Body "Pull Day" (Back/Bi's)

I really really really love this program. I've seen some massive strength gains since I implemented this in June (335 x 5 parallel squat up from 265 x 5 booyah!). Defranco does some good work. 5 days a week I have night training (primary cardio) and off days I get in 30min of interval training bike sprints.

Diet without getting super boring indepth is ~4k cals a day. My primary meals being: Breakfast/pre-workout (high complex carb), Postworkout (light cornsugar juice and whey), Dinner/Pre-training (high complex carb), Post-training (HEAVY cornsugar juice). I love my simple sugars... full glycogen levels keeps me in a good mood both in and out of training.

"On cycle" diet will be going down to 3k cals a day, which is coming out of the dinner and snack meals I didn't mention. Hoping the test will keep my strength where it's at since I'm cutting out 1k cals of energy a day *cross fingers*.

i think doses like 250mg are fine...HRT dosing will preserve muscle.

i was told 350mg from a pro.. i think it really depends on the amount of muscle that needs to be maintained and how much of a calorie defecit they are in

hey man for what u want to do dbol will be no good, i know is on its way already, do u have a buddy u can trade for some anavar if not then just put it away and save it for a future cycle, people still love dbol but i find most of it is just bloat...just my two cents

Well the dbol gift never came, so that makes the decision even easier :P Did my first shot today. 250mg in the left delt (settled on 500/week). Using up the rest of my 5/8 slin pins from the last test suspension cycle... my goodness that oil takes a while to load (fixed needle syringes). Other than that, smooth as butter.

Beginning Stats Sept 29:

Weight - 218.5lb
BF% - ~20%
Waist (at belly button) - 37.25"

Major Lifts:
DL - 435 x 3 rep max
Squat - 345 x 3 rep max
BP - 255 x 3 rep max
Push Press - 185 x 3 rep max

As soon as I get me camera back I'll snap the "before" pics.

Yeah, well I actually put it in my waist band against my stomach while I played a couple rounds of COD :) Got it to that nice "sweaty palm" temperature haha. If it was room temp I doubt it would have even budged from the vial :P 10000x smoother than shooting suspension though... man that stuff hurt.

Heat up the oil :) put a bit of hot water in a cup and then microwave it until it boils. Sit the bottom of the vial in it for a few minutes, it will draw like water

Just so i'm clear, don't microwave the vial till it boils, just the water, then sit the vial in the cup afterwards.. :)

Quick update...

October 12 (week 3)

Weight - 218
Waist - "snug" 36" :P

Squat - 345 x 3 rep max ("very" easy 3, probably shoulda did another set)
DL - 455 x 3 rep max



So my weight hasn't really budged... but my waist is definitely smaller, so I'm not sure what the deal is. AND my weights are actually up a small bit after two weeks. The Test E can't be responsible, maybe just a combination of awesome thanksgiving and some placebo :D Looking forward to the end of this week and next... cmon test! Before pics on the way too!
