Hell ya!! Seen them at the opening of a Golds in Van somewhere, can't remember just where it was, Surry, Richmond, but my brotherinlaw was a partner and the BBBrothers stayed at his place. Really nice guys. Not as crazy as they made themselves out to be. This was early to mid 80's sometime.

I sure remember them. Training in coveralls and work boots. Lifting huge poundages. They had a theory: there's no such thing as over-training, just under-eating.

You gotta be kidding me Gus! They were guest recently on off topic radio. This radio show is the shit guys. The week before they had a Dan Duchaine tribute. A bunch of guests who knew Dan were telling stories of him.

As faller said one`s a photographer and just opened some type of artistic studio and has a new book out. The pics are of bodybuilders but not the usual greased up posing stuff. More artistic. The other is attending a university at the age of 50 something and often speaks like a poet. These guys have the best stories of the old days in Gold`s gym.

Valentino even once told a story of how Mike Christian knocked out one of the Barbarian brothers.

One of the brothers once found a guy trying to steal some shit in his appartment. The theif hit him right in the neck with a baseball bat and the dude didn`t budge. Then thief then ran and jumped off the balcony. I think it was on the second floor but still, he broke his leg or something.

These guys are the shit.

We really are our own worst enemy, some guy said that a while back on here and it's so true. Why do we on a BB forum somehow manage to belittle someone's accomplishments by throwing in those comments? Be it the BBrother's, some 18 year old lifting insane amounts of weight, stallone or McMahan (sp) looking insanely jacked at 60+???

When you consider that 95% of the members here are user's and 95% of these user's couldn't even dream of achiveing any of these accomplishments no matter how much juice they used, do you really believe juice was the only contributing factor??

Not meaning to rag on ya bro, but comments like that just rub me the wrong way as it should you since that is the type of comment you expect from the media.
