Hey guys. My current offseason and diet is going very very good. I have had no problems eating my meals throughout the day. But for breakfest my first meal im really screwed. Eggs and Egg whites is a critical part of breakfest but unfortunatly im highly allergic. (if tried to eat them, my throat swells up, start weezing, huge headache, not good). Anyone have any ideas for a breakfest without eggs.

I usually have a 65g protein shake, some yogurt, 2 cups of oatmeal.
Is this all i can do with my allergy. Please dont say chicken, or steak i cant eat chicken at 7am i just dont like it till about 10am.

Do you think 2 cups of yogurt no fat is ok in the offseason. When i eat it i just feel like **** this is a cheat food. But is it ok?

O ya i forgot to add 5000mg of omega 3, supervitamin, 2000mg vit c, glucosamine also.

I wouldnt do yogurt but thats just me.
Id have 65grams protein shake, 1 cup raw weight oats, 2tbsp evoo, mac nut or flx oil and then a juice+ or juice extract/antioxidant supplement with your morning vitamins. Even though i dont really like fruit, id prob have a banana before i ever had yogurt, god knows you cant trust those nutrition data labels on the back and theyre full of artificial shit

Thanks UBC thats what i was thinking im just trying new things here. I tried the oils precontest and i threw up. I have a good stomach and i no its neccesary but the oils made me feel violently sick. SO i just take many caps. maybe switch the yogurt for a banana

Why don't you cook ground turkey and mix it with lentils; you could make a ton and keep it in the fridge. It eats like mashed potatoes with bits of turkey in it (it tastes nothing like chicken really). Shakes are ok if you're going to get a solid meal in soon but you might not be with work?

Good point nisser. Im like one of those fat kids who sneaks donuts in there pocket at work. Except i just constantly bring around this cooler and leave it in this place so i can go back to it and grab something whenever im bored. hahah.. Even when i do deliveries i bring the cooler and if the boss asks i have my walet and cell phone in there. (and chicken, brown rice, almonds, protein shakes, haha) I eat in secret at work all the time! hah. **** it im not going to wait from 8 am till 1-2 to eat what am i a ethiopian track runner.

What i figure is i cant stand the job anyways so i might as well not **** up my diet. If the boss says something about me constantly eating then fire me. This is me and my life and if you think your doing me a favour with your 9 dollar an hour job...dream on....

For anyone who`s having trouble getting their meals in with work, use the following: Ask the boss if anybody smokes. Most likely there are. Ask him how much time a day does he think the smokers go outside, smoke, come back in, go to the coffee machine, or get a muffin then get back to work. This is done at least 3 times a day. It`s just rediculous. Plus they never go by themselves, always another person with them. Total up the minutes by the week it will make your snacking seem pale in comparision to them. Man I hate smokers. They never use ashtrays, they spit while they smoke and are just disgusting in general.

Do you add anything into it? Or is it just how you described?

I usually add chili powder and cumin to the lentils and pepper/italian seasoning on the turkey; but you can season it any way you want really.

Don't cook the lentils like the package suggests. They suggest way too much water. Use 2 cups of water for 1 cup of lentils...it's going to be very runny when you first cook it but keep it in the fridge overnight and it turns to mashed potatoes.

im kinda poor and lentils are amazing because a cup of lentils has 120g carbs (with lots of fiber) for every 60g of protein, so you only have to add a bit of protein source to make it a good complete meal.

Warerow, why watch salt???

Yogurt and dairy is all fine offseason, perfectly fine.

What you could try is some ground turkey or chicken, mix it with some instant garlic mashed potatos and toss a slice of fat free Harvarti cheese on it...sprinkle some seasoning salt, hot sauce and a bit of ketchup and your good to go. I've eaten this before its good.
