View Full Version : TOO MUCH PROTEIN

Ok usually i have to be a tight wad on how much protein powder i use because that shit is pricey. Now all at once i have 30lbs literally of whey isolate. 10 lbs each of differnt flavors. I train 6 days a week, im in the offseason, i eat monstrous amounts of protein from chicken, tuna, salmon, steak, x lean ground beef, cottage cheese. I am currently looking to bulk up from about 195 to about 210. Im about 195 currently at 10% BF> Question is i want to grow and have so much powder. Any ideas.

How am i going to use 30 lbs of protein.

Im thinking 3 scoops in the morning with breakfest, 3 scoops before bed 3 scoops post workout minimum. Thats 180g of pro. But we all no i wont absorb 180 and its not whole food so its kind of bullshit. But how am i going to use all this. I am currently on the right supplements so fat gain should not be an huge issue. Plus 3 times weekly cardio.

Try this...have 1 scoop every time you eat a solid meal...the absorption of the whey will be quicker than the solid forms of protein your consuming. It would almost resemble a time release protein meal. That way your protein intake will go up, your caloric intake will go up, and your body will be able to absorb the larger amounts per meal more efficiently since there will be two different sources of protein digesting at different rates.

Of course pound some back without a solid meal PWO too! :)

Right on 10 of those pounds is from you guys coming tommarow or monday. Talked to ur rep on the phone today. Good guy he didnt want to tell me i was an idiot tho. I didnt realise you have a store like 10 mins from where i train and i could have had it a week ago. DOHHH!

Who knows, we'd love to get something going like that but truth is we're small time. But, if in the next little while we see a high demand for our products in the GTA I can't see why not at least looking into it...what we would really like to do is work with gyms and have them distribute our products...there are a couple doing that right now and they fly through it!

We also provide them protein for their shake bars!

thats a good call, but dont go overkill on the total grams of protein, unless your on a litttle something extra... ya kno?

I usually have 3 shakes ed.
3 scoops each-75g each shake.

when bulking and using smoothys to help add calories I make 2 of the shakes smoothies with 4 tbs penutbutter, 2 banana, 2scoop oatmeal, 1scoop dextros.

But i dont eat ANY meat what so ever so i would rec 2 scoops each shake not 3.

also good to have 1 when you get up, 1/2 one after workout with dex, and then another between a meal and/or before bed.
