awesome work dude. Need to really hit the back.
thanks bro! i agree, theres a lot of work to be done in the next year before my comp. back for sure as you mentioned. then some pesky imbalance between my left and right arm/delts... and ofcourse the calves.......luckily i have an amazing trainer, and she sees a lot of potential, so im really excited.
one thing you cant really see in the pics, im @ 5500 cal a day right now, and last night we could see the striations in my shoulders during my workout...

Holy shit dude, that`s alot of weight put on in a short period of time. In the before pic, were you training at all, if so for how long?
the before pic was right before i started training consistently... at that point i was @ maybe 1000-1500cals a day from frozen food chips poutine etc
another 5 months after i learned the importance of fats in your diet... then a few months ago i found out i am unable to properly digest oatmeal, which has been a staple... the way i see it, ive been robbing myself of about 1200cal a day until recently
you should see my grocery bill now, about the same as 1 bottle of test every 2 days :S

Your family and friends must be like "what a ****ing juicer" LOL
my friends.. they all know, but they dont give me too hard of a time. they seen the personal sacrifices i've had to make and continue to make to stay @ this level.
my fam is in a state of denial... they know, but they dont want to accept it. a few weeks ago my brother asked if i still had balls lol. my mom told me her coworkers were asking who the really wide guy in our recent fam photos was.

Nice Work Luke :)
You can, you just don't.
Seriously. When was the last time you tried?
never tried. got up to 55lbs seated w/ strict movement elbows against lats, then the left forearm started giving me trouble (was squeezing the handle too tight, improper form i guess).
70lb dumbell curls, thats HERO strengt to me
last 2 times i was a HERO = sever injury
one day i WILL be curing 70s, but i am a realist, and i know that wont come for a while

So you got an injury using super-duper-strict form. That's nothing new.
I know, i know. You're going to say that it had NOTHING at all to do with the form and it was ALL because of how tightly you were gripping the bell. Blaming the injury on something other than super-duper-strict form... also not new.
I submit that you're wrong and the injury happened because you didn't let your body move the way its (very individual) mechanics wanted to move. You kept it locked in an overly rigid plane and it wasn't okay with that under heavy load.
Try loosening up your form just a bit and see what happens.
Just a thought...

I was having a discussion about steroids with my wife last night and I referenced this thread. It went something like "see hunny, they arn't so bad...no steroids *scroll down* steroids...*scroll up* etc...
Great work so far. You look like a different person.
Also one of the best transformations ive ever seen.
without a doubt.
maybe THE best.

Absolutely unreal. One of the best transformations I've ever seen. Great job!
I lol'd at the family picture comment. I've had no where near the transformation and the same experience where old family friends ask my brothers "who's your ogre friend in the family pics" :P Good for the ego

What a transformation! Awesome work bro...
at what point in this 18 month transformation did you begin using aas?
To be honest, i always wanted to use AAS... in my early teens i trained and never broke the 180lb mark, and i refrained from doing any reasearch on the topic of steroids (back when BB.com had a steroid forum) because i knew id jump on the train. I also refrained from using prohormones, even tho they were easily available and legal back in 03-04.
I did my first cycle ~4 months into training, which was 180mg of orals for 8 weeks. Loved every second of it, till the winny destroyed my elbow.
My second cycle started in june this year, about 1.3g of gear a week, just finishing it up now.
Getting bloodwork done @ chirsmas, and then going on again in January if everything checks out.
If you go into my profile, i have pics from the different stages of my progress.

Just looking into it. I wouldn't do anything without her support. Plus it will be a few years yet anyways (if/when). Not going to become a pro or anything so there is all the time in the world.

I forget who taught me this but it works great, I think it was ZeOne.. to convince your wife/gf steroids are a great idea. I've added a few of my own personal touches..
First txt her on a Monday her busiest day at work and say hun, I feel so bad.. I really need to talk to you, i've done something terrible. I hope you will forgive me.
Wait a few hours don't respond to her, then txt her I am so nervous, I hope we can still stay together I love you
When she gets home tell her to sit down. She's going to want to be sitting. Then pretend like you're going to throw up, run to the bathroom etc.
Spend a few minutes in there ( maybe wack off that's what I did ) let her sweat.
Come out, she'll be ready for you to tell her how you ****ed some stripper in the ass..
Then just tell her, baby.. I took steroids.
She will be so happy to hear it believe me
LOL

LMAO! I'm brave but not that brave. My wife would probably kick down the bathroom door. Or find something heavy to hit me with and/or cry...and still be pissed off about the AAS. It will all get worked out. Honestly I felt kinda depressed/bored so I just started doing some research. I'm curious, but who isn't. Still young and want to see how far I can take things.
Anyways, back on point. Great work L3. Just for clarification my original post wasn't meant to say "only steroids did this". I've seen guys run 3 cycles then go out and party for a couple months and look exactly the same as before they started.

Seriously impressive transformation brother. Is your diet posted anywhere? I'm curious to see what the **** you eat to add on so much quality size in a year and a half. You're a ****en horse!
And...on an completely unrelated note. Varlover...that is by far the best avatar I have ever seen.
****. I wish I found that first.
thanks for the props fellas :)
my diet for the most part of that 18 months... nothing out of the ordinary, 50 protein/50 carbs/20 fat
what i think made the difference is i was religious about my eating habits. i would plan my days around eating every 2-2.5 hrs. i have been known to throw a hissy fits if i went anywhere close to 3 hrs w/out eating.
it killed my social life tho

Wow I know I have made some gains in the last 18 mos but now after looking at your pics I realize that I have not put in the commitment to my diet the way you obviously have. After my holidays I am going to get my shit together and tighten up the diet. Great work

dude awesome transformation....what was your food intake always clean foods like chicken, tuna etc?
i relied on a lot of protein shakes & natty PB
last winter i would eat whatever i could get my hands on, a lot of it, and usually throw in 1scoop whey to top it off. this got me up to about 220 naturally, my BF was quite high tho
during the spring/summer/fall i was very strict, complex carbs only (br rice or yams), chicken, ELean ground beef, tuna occasionaly, chicken not so much since i got sick of it for a period.
i havent enjoyed eating anything in quite a while, which is why im a fan of my current keto diet
again, to reiterate... the key was the consistency. i have left nightclubs before to go eat in my car. i always carry a backpack with food in it. in canada day my boys were poundin beers and i was pounding br rice and a protein shake.

Ain't it a bitch to have to be so dedicated...lol
I do the same when prepping for a show, if i could do that in the offseason i might actually grow.
Awesome work, keep it up.
Nice work.
don't worry, my arms are about 18 and I do 25s on seated curls lol.
Up to 50s standing, but no where near 70s lol.
