What's up bro's,

So we'll be offering supplement powders by the pound very soon and will be starting out with creatine monohydrate and L-glutamine. We'll periodically be bringing in new powders by the pound but we need your help deciding which powders to offer.

We're posting up a poll and the highest count on the list will be the 3rd powder by the pound we'll be offering for, of course, a fraction of the price.

And if there's something not on the list make sure you let us know and we'll do our best to carry for you!

So let us know and we'll get it for ya!!!

I voted bcaa`s. Try to make the price competitive by the kilo. In Canada there`s a place that sells 1 kilo for $50. Try to sell it around that price.

Actually, it would be convenient to have a local supplier of bulk B5. I voted BCAAs.

Why bulk B5 guys? You can buy it for super cheap at the pharmacy. It`s just not something I see a supp company selling and making reapeat sales on because of it`s necessetty.

I'm also curious about this...it is definitely doable as our suppliers and manufacturers can source virtually any supplements on the globe, but I'd like to know if there really is a decent market for it.

ps. PdH, I hit the edit button instead of quote...opps :) Nothing in your post was changed!

That`s weird. I`ll take a look next time. But why the b-5? Wouldn`t a b complex that has 50mcg in each cap be enough.

Super cheap at which pharmacy? I'm planning to start an increased fight load in 5 weeks and will look to B5 as an acne preventative. From what I've read you need 5 - 10 grams a day. I don't get bad acne sides, but I despise even a small amount.

I voted BCAA's - Will there be an option to flavor these ?

As of right now I don't think so as this would only increase the cost of a product that can easily be added to a shake, juice, or whatever else. But, if there proves to be a demand for a flavored BCAA powder than we'll do our best to bring one in! :)

^^ Waste of time ? I like to drink BCAA'a ALL day as a drink so I buy Xtend by Scivation. Can't beat that , IMO.

I know that it the raw powder can be tricky to work with but have you tried mixing it in juice or a shake?

People who complain about the taste are pussies. Just throw it down the hatchet, add some water and swallow that shit. I used to drink N.O. shotgun (the one that had the supposed bad taste) I would add extra creatine ethly ester and powdered bcaa in it.

Say you want to drink the powdered BCAA during the workout. The stuff when you first put it in your bottle looks all weird and shit. Give it a shake, it will still look odd. But by the time you do your warmups the powder will dissolve and settle a little. Just shake your bottle before each sip and you`re good to go. Mixed in gatorade, it just tastes like frozen concentrate juice.

Or you can pay way more for flavored stuff...

I say you carry injectable b-12 that way when LEO raids your shop you can sue the shit out of them and use the lawsuit cash to start a chain:)

The bb multi sounds great though:)

I voted for L-Leucine. My second choice would be the BCAA's.

Some studies are suggesting that most of the effects of amino acids on protein synthesis are mediated by Leucine. Supposedly, adding 5 grams of Leucine to a meal increases muscle protein synthesis 50 to 70 percent in humans and increases protein turnover over 500 percent.

Here's two of the studies,
-Norton LE and Layman DK. Leucine regulates translation initiation of protein synthesis in skeletal muscle after exercise. J Nutr. 2006; 136(2):533S-537S.
-Stipanuk, Martha H. Leucine and protein synthesis: mTOR and beyond. Nutrition Reviews. 2007;Mar;Vol. 65, No. 3:122-9.
