be honest with him, its all confidential anyway, then he will know what to check. plus doctors arnt dumb and when you go to get checked after and you weigh 20 lbs heavier he will probably figure it out anyway.

Mmstar - quick note on this whole confidential thing - i'm a life insurance agent
and we get full disclosure from doctors on their clients all the time . so if you doc treats you for something it recorded in medical info database and is there for us to see ( or another doctor if you transfer etc) . I don't want my use to get recorded for obvious problems that will arise

People should take note of what iwant2grow604 has said here. When it's time to renew insurance premiums could go up.Info leaks out of the medical system in all kinds of ways as well.

iwant2grow,

I just tell my doctor to keep everything off the record. He wrote me up anything I wanted for bloodwork and even some extra shit. He knows but he doesn't know. Get my drift....

as far as life insurance , disability and critical illness insurance once it determined your a drug user you are automatically declined and there is a database for all the declines so once one company does it we all know the reason and will decline - pm me if you want any more specifics

I always go to clinics... Does that show up on you health record?

Yes, I do. My doc is the same. Nothing is on the official record.

So if I was on government disability and told my doctor I took some juice it would go on record and then I'd be cut off? That's harsh.

Oh I see. Because I know some people who are on it and they need their medication. They have extreme OCD habits (bodybuilding could consitituted as one... the obsession to get bigger at any cost) and if they were to take steroids it's kinda not really their fault since they don't have a stable mind to begin with.
