everyone hates him. Me... I could care less. If I were him I would have fought tooth and nail to get traded away from Edmonton as Edmonton is:

5. More money in USA

Haha you got it in a nutshell, except maybe for the last one...but i guess if a canadian moved to the states, comparitively the canadian would have more money in the usa than the average american, I have a shitty job work 40 hours a week and still make more than the average household in the usa. I grew up in Edmonton. Comrie and Pronger are the two most hated ex players in Oiler history. If Comrie does not produce immediatly, he is going to hear the boo birds at the arena and on the street.

The owner of the Oilers, Daryl Katz, is prob good buddies with Comrie's father, who owns The Brick furniture stores. Perhaps a favor for an old friend.

Why the Oil would sign another undersized forward is beyond me. They were domintated physically in almost all games last year except when Macintyre was pounding people prior to having his orbital bone shattered in a scrap.
