The Zombie Thread...

Every message board I have been on seems to have lively discussions about zombie movies, and the eventual (and un-avoidable!! ;) ) rising of the dead in real life.

So who here has watched Dawn of the Dead (the original or recent re-makes) and come up with a zombie contingency plan??

Or, anyone have a favourite film? I love this genre of movie, the whole post apocolyptic genre is a fun one though!

I've probably watched every zombie movie ever made...with the exception of I am legend which I'll watch very soon.

I used to love The Return of the Living Dead stuff when i was young.

Dawn of the dead was a damn good one. (the original and remake). Of recent stuff, 28 days later was probably my favorite. I haven't watched I am Legend yet but I have it here next to me. I'm saving it for a lonely Saturday night.

I personally think that it would suck to be in this huge world with 3 more people...you would get sick of these same people after a while....just get bitten by one of the zombies and avoid the boredom :)

Seen most but Dawn of the Dead freaked me out because they motored not like the lazy ass ones in the other movies. I think my favorite was Shawn of the Dead, I just about pissed myself laughing in that one.

Technically spekaing 28 days/weeks later isnt a zmobie movie either,but still good films, though VERY dark. The second one (while not as good as the first) was dark to the point of rediculous.

By the way, there is a remake of Day of the Dead, I believe comig out this year. Ving Rhames is in it. Seems odd to me to have the guy who played Peter inthe remake of Dawn to be playing Rhodes (I think) in the Day remake...

i think youre getting pretty particular about what constitutes a zombie. and I am legend is a terrible movie with about the worst ending ever and totally butchered the book.
