Just a little bit of important information brought to you by you're friendly admin.
Every ip sent via safe-mail will have your IP visible to the receiver.
It is a secure transport email using the https header. That means your data on it's way over the network can't be read. It is NOT an anonymous email system.

It cant be read, but it targets you IP, that seems to defeat the purpose. There is no "safe" way to go about your internet activities. Unless you are a whiz on the comp.

Very few email systems hide that. One is, believe it or not, Gmail.
Safe-Mail gives away full headers and only premium accounts are the headers removed. Otherwise anyone you send an email to from safe mail will be able to see your IP if usingthe free account.
Safe-mail is only encrypted if you use safe-mail to safe-mail.

Just use FoxyProxy with Tor to hide your IP.
edit: or steal your neighbors Wi-fi.
You think if the cops get a hold of your sources email accounts you're going to get busted because you sent him an email? If they really want to get you they will just use the sources email until you place another order and then do a controlled delivery.
Hopefully they delete all emails after any business takes place.
It's probably good that everyone knows about the public IP situation just so they can take the proper precautions.

Getting your gear in a gym is probably very uncomfortable but actually the safest way nowadays.

Don't do anything that breaks the law is what I've been recommending for about 2 years now.
Other than that, if you want to remain anon on the net (as it's your right to), then you must find email systems that remove your ip from the headers or redirect their emails through a proxy to change the headers or use a VPN (virtual private network). Nothing is 100% foolproof though. Thinking that one sits being a proxy and is safe to do what they like is misleading. There are a few lines of code that will get your real ip even if you're using a proxy (not all the time but a good majority of the time). Proxies have their use but they are not very secure.

PGP will not mask your IP.
But it will garble your message. You can't be prosecuted for emailing gibberish.

Just use FoxyProxy with Tor to hide your IP.
Why would you use the 2 together? What is the benefit?

FoxyProxy is just the tool used to surf the web via firefox while running the Tor network. I think the new version of FoxyProxy comes with Tor built in, you just have to select it from a right-click menu.

This may be a total newb thing to say, but are the police even authorized to view your emails without telling you?
Or are all of your refering to a situation that could occur should you be emailing someone you werent intending to?

I read how to do that a while ago, it's pretty simple but over most peoples heads, and if LE notice you're sending someone random pictures of lolcats they're going to know what's up.
