Are they easy to change?
There's an extra set of keys out there and the person won't give them back to me. I let him stay at my place for 3 weeks, eat my food and basically make a mess. I also have to get gum out from my carpet and now get it shampooed. He would go mountain biking and not wash his bike down after and then push his bike through my place that was covered in mud. My nice carpets smell like muddy moldy piss. Bran spanking new carpet to.
I asked im to leave after 3 weeks when he was only originally going to stay for 1 week. I try to help some one out and in the end I'm the one getting ****ed over. He also has my only garage opener. Now i have to reorder and that's around 200$ from what i have been told.
Anyways, i need to change the dead bolt to my front door. It looks to be easy but i don't want to take it apart and not be able to get the new one in there. I manage to get things apart but not put back together :(
Whatcha guys think?
Anyone changed one of these things before?

you dont need to change it. you can get it re-keyed. call a lock smith and they will do it on site for prob 30 bucks or so.
or if it is a weiser or schlage or an otherwise popular brand, you can take it to a lumberyard that sells them, and they might rekey for free

Bingo! 30 bucks i believe is dead on if they have to do a house call.

Wise words of wisdom. Flying solo is the way to go like Ice Man instead of being left like Mav after Goose breaks his heart.
Iv always had great roomates. Just get to know them for a year or more first before you move in.

He was just a buddy who came in from the states to get a new life out here.
He was only suppose to stay for 1 week but I am a nice guy and let him stay for 3. I lived with room mates years ago and couldn't stand it. Living with room mates is what made me buy a place to call my own. Room mates suck

Last night on msn Mr.Captain Morgan and I let him have it. I said some nasty deep dirty secrets he thinks I don't no about. Once I unleashed his pathetic financial status and made it clear how really pathetic he is I think he crumbled.
When he called me he was out side my building inside his jeep. His window was 1/2 way down and he couldn't look me in the eyes. He denied everything saying i never tried to contact him and so on. He then handed me my stuff and I just said , im done wasting my time with you .. See ya !
So this guy lost a friend over 2 keys, a garage clicker and 85$.
Pretty sad I think.
Still getting my locks fixed.
