View Full Version : Still can't decide what to make my next cycle

I'm so confused and torn... my last cycle (first one) was kinda disappointing. I did gain a bunch of weight, but got pretty bloated. I've been mildly dieting for the past couple months, down 10lbs. Still the same strength, so that's good.
I really want to do another cycle soon, but I can't decide what compounds to run. I'm considering Tren E, EQ and Primo (along with test e). It's not going to be a bulker, at least, I'm not going to be eating nearly as much as I was the first time 'round. I want to get lean/stay lean.
Is it feasible to keep cutting for the first half of the cycle, then start eating more the second half to gain some weight? Does anyone do it like this, or do you just decide from the beginning if it's either going to be a cutter or a bulker?

I do that. Cut from like w2-6 just to say I drop a couple % of fat, then bulk w7-16. It lets you see the gains in the mirror, rather than just on the scale

Personally, I'm either cutting or bulking. Trying to achieve both in one cycle seems somewhat paradoxical to me, but I'm old school.

I agree, I've only ever cycled for bulk, have yet to run a cutting cycle...yet ;)

4 compounds for your 2nd cycle might be a bit much for what your trying to accomplish. The leaner you get the bigger you will look, so if you can drop your body fat percentage, and add a few pounds of LBM, you will be better off than trying to diet for the first 6 weeks losing 10-12lbs then go into bulking and gaining 12-15lbs...thats two steps fwd two steps back.

Yeah, that's exactly what I want to achieve with this next cycle.. drop my BF% and add a few lbs of LBM.
Oh and I didn't mean all of them! :)
I'm trying to decide between the 3 along with Test...

If you run a long cycle like a 20 weeker, you could spend the first 10 weeks cutting then do a bulk for the last 10. That`s what I`m finishing up.

Exactly. And I may be liberal with my words here, but no one really cares about a yoke with junk fatceps to be honest. Just my two cents.
I'd rather maintain some muscularity as opposed to obsessing over the scale and measuring tape.
Nothing is more embarrassing than someone much lighter than you looking a million times better because of their conditioning. No reason to get overly bulky unless you know what you're doing and plan on getting back down afterward. My primary concern is the cardiovascular challenges that getting too big entails.

well, I am a little more Liberal then most when it comes to anabolics, and I say go for it.
If I were you for 2nd cycle with the goals youre looking for I would do:
Test E at 250mg/eod
Tren A at 100mg eod
dostinex during cycle .5mg e3d
run the tren for 12 weeks, and the test for 16.
PCT with HCG, Nolva and clomid
diet to be lighter on fat, but carbs and protein high
cardio to be on the heavy side and even some days as much as an hour
you will get ripped and look the part
Now, tren is not nice. It is actually very mean. If you have a girlfriend, or job that requires you to take a lot of bullshit, you should replace the tren with NPP (keep the dostinex)

How much shit will I be into if I run Tren E? I'm not working, and I'm single... so that helps. More than anything else, I worry about acne and hairloss.
id worry about issues with depression/anxiety with tren e.......

tren e is brutal mainly (for me) because when you are sick of it, and you want off, you're in for at least 3 more weeks after last shot.
suck it up buttercup and learn to jab new body parts and eod injects. lol
PS My first tren was enanthate, and it was wonderful but it took a month to clear my system. Night sweats. Mood swings. It was brutal.

I have had no issues with either trens..except for lack of sleep but nytol takes care of that issue for me..also why leanout for a few weeks then go into bulker..seems silly really...summers over..walking around on the beach with no shirt is over...just bulk the **** up and drop the weight next spring and be even bigger..

I agree with champ...just make sure you're not starting to bulk while at a high bf; get down to a reasonable level, then just bulk.

I think you would be quite happy with test and eq. Almost zero sides,eq helps me with keeping the tendents loobed,and this can give you the hard vascular look the ladies like.

Stick to one or the other. Mixing cutting/bulking is a waste of time to me. A great bulker is 600 test, 400 deca a week. You can jumpstart with whatever. Dbol, drol, prop, or nothing. Its all in the diet man, then training and rest. Cutting is 90% diet, and you WILL lose some muscle. You can stick to test, something DHT or whatever wont aromatize (tren?) and arimidex in SMALL doses. Or you can cut while off cycle. Its all in the diet diet diet diet diet!

Not sure why, but i find i get more sides with TrenE, but with trenA not as bad, after a while the pokeing isnt bad, hell some even look forward to the daily shots ;)

I was on a board once where some guy was ranting about how he loved to pin himself so much he would pin himself for fun a couple times a day just for the rush (no depot, just an empty syringe)
in the 1st month of my cycle i pinned 3-4x a day, hesitant of large volume shots...

In the most volumous of my history, I was 5 cc eod, and was also runnign peptides, which required IM jabs both pre and post work out bilaterally.
For instance, I might have to pin right glute, left glute, then right bicep and left bicep with MGF, followed by right bicep and left bicep PWO.
LOL it sucked, then when I was getting close to end of cycle I had the occasional HCG shot too LOL
At this time I was also experimenting with melanotan and frags too so I would have night time sub Q x2
Thats 9 pins on some days LOL

Only considering tren because of the permanent gains it offers... however with the threat of severe mood swings (which i already have a hard time with as it is) i might be better off running something a little less strong.
so im looking at eq or primo... and maybe some var.
im not going to bulk again like i used to. i gained too much fat and its been a bitch to lose. im short at 5'6.5" so i dont need/want to get too big for my frame. luckily i have a small waist, so once ive burned off the last bit of love handles and stomache/chest fat, im gonna be lookin pretty good about where i want to be.... id like to be around 185-190 lean. im at 170 now at around 14% bf.

Yeah, I hear you. I stopped the whole heavy bulking thing, and do controlled bulks now where my diet will fluctuate and I monitor body fat the whole time.
I like being HUGE and STRONG but hate being FAT

exactly, just trying to do it smarter this time 'round...
i learned a lot from my first cycle, how my body responds to diet changes, etc.. and i'm learning even more from my recent diet (depression = lack of appetite).
its funny because ive been eating a lot less than usual, yet im maintaining strength.. i think my body actually works better with fewer calories than what i was consuming before (2500+).
i'm kicking things off with Epistane.. so i gotta make up my mind what to grab to go along with the test i already have. something that will provide strength over size is what im looking for.
hell, if i cant make up my mind i'll just run the test by itself...
or
i'll run the epistane and see where im at after that. yeah, i think i'll do that. by the end of that, i should be down a few bf% so i will have a better idea of what id like to do from there.
