so I had my IGF-1 levels tested back about 6-8 weeks ago by my endo.
Got the results back and I have Growth Hormone Deficiancy. Meaning I produce severly under the average range for my age. I do not even produce within the " testing range"- I produce under it... The only treatment option that I have presented to me at this time is a prescription for 2iu's of gh/day.
Now here is where the problem inlies. I need this treatment- it is not cosmetic reasons or anything like that- I am a very very young guy (don't ask for specifics please). So I kind of need this treatment. THE THING IS IT COSTS 1000/ MONTH! To get my prescription filled. That means 1000 for 60ius of gh.
They would be providing me with somnatropin (or however you spell it). Now this is a very good gh as we all know but I quite simply cannot afford the treatment at that cost.
I also do not really want to go the illegal route for gh- So I'm wondering if there is some sort of legit overseas pharmacy that requires prescription so it is fully legal so that I can get the treatment?
I do not feel this is breaking any rules as to I am asking for legit legal ways to obtain gh with a prescription. If it is against the rules I am very sorry but I do not know how to obtain gh legally at a reasonable price. I'd just like to be able to get this treatment legally but at 1000/ month it's not an option for me.
Also- my insurance company does not cover gh from my understanding as to they only view it as a "cosmetic drug"- so if you know of any ways to get around that as well I'm open years.
Once again I'm sorry to even have to ask here but I need some help...

Are you 100% sure that your insurance will not pay for it? I don't think you can even get a prescription for HGH if it is for "cosmetic" reasons. That would be like getting a prescription for testosterone for cosmetic reasons.

i think i agree with this...your insurance should cover it since its not cosmetic and like Greekgod said, i dont even think you can get a script for GH

How can "they" determine that GH is for cosmetic reasons period? There's no reason as to not covering it for you for your actual health/well being.
...like said above, I'd look further into this!

Docs dont usually prescribe something for cosmetic purposes so you should be covered. I know of a few guys that are legally prescribed and their insurance covers it for them.

I thought the anti-aging clinics prescribed both for cosmetic reasions?

Well anti-aging clinics prescribe it for older people which is mostly the case for GH I thought?
The only reasons that I've heard of to get GH covered by insurance are if you're pituitary gland is firing NO signals to produce gh or if you're child suffered from some sort of injury or disease that prohibited the natural production of gh.

hmm ok thanks guys. I'm going to look more into this.
When I asked my endo he said they wouldn't cover it unless I had some overnight testing in the hospital and they determined that my pituitary gland or something like that wasn't even firing signals to produce gh or something along those lines. And even after all that it was a slim chance they'd cover it.
I will deffinately look more into it though.

But your Endo has already persribed it for you for personal health reasons which in turn should be proof enough for your ins to cover this for you....good luck bro hope it works out in your favor!

just do what we do.. get it domestically.. if you only run 2iu a day to replace your dose its definitely affordable.

what you deem affordable and what he deems affordable may be vastly different. We all know the ballpark range for domestic GH and even at 2IU/day it's still not exactly inexpensive.

If I had a script, I would order 20000iu from the dude, and if it got pinched by customs, I would show script and fight my case. Prob wouldnt get pinched, but I am too scared to order that much at once otherwise LOL

Hmmmm, I'm a little surprised that he prescribed you 2ui's a day for replacement. Despite the fact that guys (like me) like to call it an "anti-aging" dose, it really isn't. That's higher than what an average healthy adult produces naturally......

6-8 weeks ago were or had you been taking anything that could potentially have affected the test results? if so, you results might be in the normal range once you let your system clear out and recover no?

I asked him and aas that I was taking would not have played a role in the low results. If anything they should have raised my gh levels according to him.

Yes, you can order your GH from an over seas pharmacy as you have a legit prescription for it. If it gets held at customs call them and fax them the script. It will probably be a lot of red tape to get it but you will.

Not to mention the trouble in finding a LEGIT over seas pharmacy that the GH isn't counterfeit or fake all together.

While domestic would be 1/4 the price I would go overseas and get it for 1/10 the price, as said above it will be held at customs and you can bring in a script to claim it. You can order up to 3 months supply at a time but I'm sure they'll let you get 200 iu instead of 180.

That`s just nuts when you can pretty much get a whole cycle of two compounds, hcg, AI`s and serms for about the same price.

that's about average domestic for 4X his daily dose. And really if you're running 8iu you should at least be a national competitor or have a fair amount of disposable income.

If you got a legit script you're golden. Don't buy in North America. Like said, if you have a script you can import it.
There are many legit pharmacies in countries that will sell. Do some research and make some phone calls. Helps if you have a friend that speaks Chinese. You just fax your prescription to them and it will be sent along with your shipment

Get your endo to make a write up of your conditions and make it clear that you need to supplement with exogenous GH and send it to your insurance/health plan company with blood work etc included in the document. (as far as I know) endos always do a post visit write up anyhow, so all youd probably need is a copy of that with accompanying bloodwork and you should be gtg.

Thans for the support and advice bro's it is very much appreciated :)
I'm going to try to get it through insurance- I'll talk to my endo about it some more.
If that fails i'll import as some of you suggested

also just a quick question- I always thought gh was supposed to be mixed with bac water.
now i'm seeing some of you are mixing it with salt water or something?
Which method is the best if I need a vial of gh to last me 5 days?
