I ask this question from time to time to get feedback from all you guys and gals to see how you find the forum is doing
Since we've changed direction and little and "evolved" as I call it, do you like this new direction? Getting more involved with the sport, the athletes, some competition coverage etc?
Let me know your feedback and suggestions if any.
(I know...I know...the shirts...soon!!!! :puff)

the site continues to improve every day. whether it be members who are knowledgable and post their experiences and answer questions, to the mods who keep the board running smoothly, to the new members who generate topics, and to you MP, for changing the format.
the way the board is set up now, reminds me more and more of Dave palumbos and John ramons new board.
if only we could get more PRO'S posting and answering questions here. but that day may come.
keep up the good work

I'd be glad to work with top level competitors to do a Q&A thing if they'd like. It really helps them build a reputation and acquire new clients. Always open to that if anyone is interested.
I think the board is a good group of people. I like the addition of the powerlifting section.

I really enjoy this forum but there are a few things i would like to change, mainly just a few more sub-forums added in, a video section which I dont think we have yet.. i feel it would be better to combine bbing pics and vids all in one forum, maybe see a sub sections for food recipes, and were missing political and religion section which i would also like to see.. othr then that.. great forum.. first thing I check after my morning coffee is CBB..

This forum just gets better everyday. I love the new sections. I like when you know a lil about all the guys and its more of a personal board then say elite or bb.com. I love some ppls post and look forward to them everyday. Like livehard and Ukranian guy always post funny shit. I laugh at there posts everyday. The only thing is ppl have been really negative lately and snappy. Lets keep this board positive and lets stop with all the fighting. We are all here for a common purpose. to pursue the sport we love. so lets do just that.

I love the board so far, although I have not been here that long yet. I myself, like others wish I would have found this board sooner.
But yeah there are alot of great ideas floating in this thread already, like adding vids... I think that would be cool.

I post on several forums (including one I help moderate), and this is one of the best. Varied subforums, and good exchange of talk and ideas. A forum is only as good as the administrator, mods and members make it. So everyone keep up the super work!

I'd be a little concerned that cbb could suffer from its own success. Being canadian saves it from a bit of the silliness but many of the other forums are almost content free when it comes to bodybuilding. As an infinite number of subforums unrelated to bb are created it draws a different community.
While porn, politics, humor and social groups certainly increase the traffic it is my opinion that they reduce the quality of the content.
On many sites i.e. GetFigged.com a significant portion of the community doesn't even work out. RxMuscle has some fantastic content driven by the owners but the posting community is dominated by porn and flamewars.
I used to be a big fan of elitefitness in the early days when it was content rich and cycles for pennies and 5x5 were hot topics of discussion. I think we've got strong content on aas but could really use more on diet and training. It would also be nice to get some coverage of regional/local bodybuildig in canada. who's who in the zoo kind of thing.

This is a great idea ^^^ IMO

I have noticed this more lately as well. ^^^
CBB is definitely my favorite BB site. I like it the way it is and the fact that MP is asking for users input I find to be a very positive thing.
Keep up the good work MP! :a+
I check CBB more often than I check my email.

I find there are a few too many sub-forums to scroll through now.. feels a bit cluster ****ed.
Other than that, still love it here and check it numerous times a day. It's an awesome group of people, all brought together through a common interest.
Now, if you could open up a store and start selling AAS, we'd be all set!
I kid... I kid......
Btw, where are those damn t-shirts?? :D
-----------
Please don't make any more sub forums, especially Religion and/or Politics.. there's already been some tension recently, we don't need to have that kind of controversy on the boards. Those kinds of discussions almost always end up in bad blood.

Great site, thanks to whoever spammed bb.com and sent me the PM.
I think you should add some subsection for different provinces. Would be nice to discuss local gyms, how much they cost, where people buy supps locally and stuff.
Its nice to have a board where you can say "tim hortons" and people know wtf you're talkin about

There are little arrows to the right of the headers, you can minimize the subsections.

Or just do what I do and click on New Posts. Cuts down a lot on navigation and you don't miss anything.
Great site MP!

I think Steroids - AAS should be above General and Miscellaneous.. I know the point is to have less focus on AAS, but let's be realistic here, it's a part of bodybuilding, and it's an interest that's common for a lot of us.. it belongs a little higher than the very bottom at least. General and Misc don't even relate to bodybuilding at all.
As well, Diet and Nutrition seems like it should be a general sub forum for men and women. I wanted to post about Fiberlyze, but didn't know where to post since both men and women can take it.

I just press the END button and it jumps to the bottom of the forum then I check the AAS section quickly. It's kind of convenient to have it there :)

I like it alot as it lacks all of the bs and attitude the other forums sometimes have.
I would like a addition of MMA-BJJ more conditioning & training related.

Way to many sub sections, I don't really want to check everyone for a topic i'm interested in or can help someone with.
I just go to body building suppliment, nutrition and AAS. I think that suppliment, nutrition and diet could all be together.
Ideal sections to me would be:
-News, rules, and Intros
-CBB videos, Contests, and Member pics
-Training, Stretching, MMA ect
-Nutrition, suppliments, and deit Info
-AAS, HRT, and PCT
Just saying, not to many people take the time to check every subsection. Other than that, I enjoy the discussion that go on here, and the lack of ego on the board. Everyone helps out and gets help!
THANKS to all the Daily/Weekly Members!! and the level headed mods too!
