Three weeks of my Test E: 700mg/week and Var: 60mg/day.

In two weeks I am having nasal surgery in two weeks. There was a cancellation so it. :eek:

Also i have to go for a pre-op assessment.

I was wondering if I should;

1. Stop shooting now and hope it's out of my system by the surgery, and tell them in pre op that i've stopped.

2. Keep shooting, not say anything and hope I'm still fine for surgery.

I remember lunkhead giving a recommendation to a question like this at MN....if I remember correctly he recommended dropping the orals and lowering the test to a maintenance dose of around 200mg/week until after the surgery is over and your ready to hit the gym again....

edit: should be no reason to tell them pre-op either. It won't change how they deal with you...they'll determine that from your pre-op blood work etc.

what's up with the nasal surgery?

Well, i've had my nose broken a few times. Talking when I shoulda been listening. Just kidding. It got broken at work and a couple fights when I was younger.

I've been having trouble breathing and feeling plugged up for a couple years now. He said my nose is all deviated inside. haha

although i cant really see this being a problem, i personnaly would tell the doc and ask his opinion, sure they are going to judge you, but it could prevent something from going wrong

I had to get an ulcer removed from my tongue; it was day surgery, but they still had to put me under.

I filled out Pre-op assessment honestly, but I was only on test e at the time. They are more concerned about people taking stimulants, benzos, or other drugs that will interact with the anasthetic.

They did not even ask me about the aas, but were more interested in whether or not fasted properly and did not drink water.

I would not worry about the test interfering with the surgery, but I might not take any var a day or two out as you do not want any nausea during surgery. I do not think var would do this, but why not be safe.

Good Luck.

If they are going to put you under, you need to be totally honest with them, steroids and operations when being put under do not mix!!!

Well, I cut off my cycle at the 10 week mark cause I am getting put under on the beginning of the 12th week, then I'll start pct after the surgery. I was hoping to do a 14 weeker, but oh well, there is always the next cycle.

Thanks for advice guys:tu
