What do you hunt for? Where? What do you shoot?

Im looking at buying a new Savage .308 in the very near future, id use it for deer (with lighter bullets) but really want to do a lot more moose hunting next season.

I hunt bear and deer mostly. Whatever I can get a tag for. I hunt in the interior BC mostly. I shoota savage in 300 mag. 308 would be plenty enough for moose. Its more about where the bullet goes than how hard it hits.

Where abouts in the interior of BC? Im mostly inthe Okanagan, though living on the island now, where the deer are tiny!

I use to hunt partridge with my 410 and 22 rifle. Also have a 9mm sig saur handgun to target shoot.

i used to hunt in the okanagan i use my browning 7mm for everything from deer to moose just moved to Alberta though so im looking forward to finding some big deer next season

I live right where the north and south thompson meet. ;) Good thing about those little deer is you can take your car hunting and just put the little buggers under your seat.
