After watching my parents shitty marriage, going through many horrible relationships, and even reading many of the threads on this board about cheating, I am starting to loose faith in humanity. Even where I work and at school, it seems that people who are in relationships dont seem to really care and are constantly checking out their other options.

Im starting to wonder if humans are MEANT to be monogamous? Is there anyone on this board who is actually faithful AND happy to be? Can that last a "lifetime" with ONE person?

Physically i dint think we are meant to me faithful But mentally thats another issue completely our minds our evil and society has manipulated our train of thought

Been together with my significant other for 11 years now and married for the last 6 years. I wouldn't ever change a thing...yes their can be ups and downs (life has ups and downs without being married). But I can honestly say I'm glad I married her. I view it as a life long thing...shit can happen of course, there is always a chance it could end for one reason or another. But I hope it doesn't.

I absolutely believe in marriage! Getting married can be the best or the worst decision you will ever make. I think that people far too often rush into it, they settle on the person they are with. Too many people think, "This is the best I will ever get," and get married when they have no business being with that person. That being said I have been with my wife for 6 years, married for almost 2, and it has been the best decision I have ever made!

I think the main purpose/function is to provide a safe and healthy environment for having children. I think once you find the right person, you will find marriage natural and having kids and all that will be fun.

Too many people just want to be married and too many guys do it for their wives. You should want to marry a woman because you love the crap out of her and you dont want anyone else to have her.
