Hey guys,

I have been watching this thing develop over the last days. There is a lot of uncertainty, there has been a lot of brainstorming BUT:

-In the end the main and most important issue has yet to be, and will not be fixed/discussed (with this poll or group or anything in the open) SECURITY.

Labs IMO are not interested in being out in Hollywood, they are interested (most anyways) in keeping low profile, while still moving on forward.
A lab that is exposed Hollywood style is one that people start looking into---and not just regular juice monkeys, but guess who else---yeah our friend the Gov;)

In the old days, it was almost impossible to get a hold of a list, to get a hold of a review, to even get a vet of the community to even return a PM in regards ---but things have changed so much over the last few years.


I stand my gounds and still think that this group idea is good, but not for THIS purpose:(

I have been thinking a lot, and have angled the situation, but nothing good comes out of it. 100 heads think better than one of course.

I vote for Private as well but I guess it also depends on who makes the call on if a person is invited or not.

There could also be a minimum amount of months or years as a pre-requisite.

IE - must have been a member for at least 1+years and have a minimum amount of reputation etc... Just some suggestions.

What's the point of private exactly?
Sadly some of you think law enforcement are absolutely retarded.
There are law enforcement on many of the main boards with 500, 1000, 5000 posts, are even mods on the boards, and have access to all the 'inner circles'. Really, if the point is to keep law enforcement out, that's a joke. I bet you I could set up a new account and have an invite within two weeks.

So.. if by some chance it ever became invite only, who starts out in the group? everyone thats already in it ? or would we decide that only members which have attained post count x be allowed to be invited? length of time on the board? (as meathead pointed out) or some other method? or what?

it's a tough call. some trust definitely needs to be built and scammers must be exposed. the fact is many people know each other here. most just want to help and keep this board a benefit, some abuse it and use to it make $$$. the problem is AAS is illegal and we respect that but if we have a forum like pics it opens the door for everything. how can we complain about peeps asking about sources when there is a pic forum?

If there is no brand posting, then what`s the point? The info posted there will be available anywhere esle. The point of this is to discuss labs in my mind, by selected people who`s opinion`s we trust. And other people we trust reading the given info.
