ok so i searched around and could not find the info i was looking for so im starting a new thread.
so im on week 10 of my first cycle and have been doing mainly quad shots and today i hit a nerve for the first time, leg tensed up immediatly and the pin would have flown right out of my leg if i didnt have a steady hand on it, then i noticed more than the usual amount of blood at the injection site and it feels like i was given a huge bruise instantly. just wondering if theres anything i need to worry about after this, im sure its pretty common but just want to be on the safe side and ask the right questions.

I hit a nerve pinning my quad once, hurt like a bitch and my whole leg spazzed. I just pulled the pin, replaced it and repinned a cm over. Not a problem for me. I'd wait a few days to see if you still have pain, the nerve should heal.

I hurt my toe once hitting a nerve doing a calf shot. Leg shot out in front of me uncontrolably and kicked the desk with my bare foot. Calf was sore for a few days after but everything was fine.

If blood squirts out like water from a hoze after a shot, then simply cover it and apply pressure immediately.
The blood flow will subside in minutes and you will be fine.
You most likely hit a vein on the way in or on your way out.

I had to get a metal plate put in my hand a few years ago. When the surgeon cut my hand they moved the nerve out of the way so it would not get damaged during the surgery. My entire pinky finger was numb for the next 8 months I could not feel 1 thing in it. The surgeon told me this would be a side effect until the nerve grew back into its place. So about 8 months later I started having feeling in it again. It felt really weird at first but now it feels normal. So you can damage a nerve but they will grow back/heal.

Don't Forget C.P.R :)

I've only hit a nerve once. The radiating pain was kind of cool. I didn't try pushing further to see what would happen and instead pulled out and pinned in a different spot.
I understand that if you take the pin and start rowing like a canoe you could do yourself some damage. I haven't tried this experiment personally.
