Not sure whats going on, but I took a shot of enanthate in my right glute and the pain has gotten consistatly worse over 5 days, not better. Normally I'm sore for 2-3 days thats it. But I have been doing alot of very physical work the last couple of days that has left my legs really sore. Could this have irratated the muscle at the injection site?? There is no obvious redness or swelling, but the is a small lump(nott?) thats getting really tender. What do you think?

It's probably a sterile abscess. If so, it will likely just go away. If it gets warm to the touch and red, then you'll need to get on some antibiotics.

I was thinking the same. Happened to me and went away after a week.

I'd say sterile abscess, all the leg work should have helped rid the pain. I had one in my right glute and felt it for a little more than a month. Don't shoot it until pain/lump is gone. Obviously if it gets worse get it checked.

OK, thanks guys....I was thinking that as well, but its always good to get opinions from others. There is currently no obvious signs of infection other than an unusual amount of pain. I'll keep an eye on it and see what happens.

Id say a bad shot. I can"t tell you how many times, i've been sore for minimum,a week, due to this. Could be many things , i'd say just bad ol shot, just stay off that site for a while to disapate. Use delts, legs, etc but definatly sucks as i know what you mean, i normaly get worst with leg shots. Glute , not as many, do you shoot in same spot often? Then i could see a sterale abcesst.

No, I've been off for months. Its my first glute shot in probably 3 months.

first shot in 3 months? no wonder. your body isn't used to it anymore, it's like pinning a virgin muscle again. what did you expect? i was crippled for the first 3 weeks using test 400, i could hardly walk, no joke.

unless ur source ****ed u over and gave u dirty gear i doubt it is an abcess.

Ya, i notice if your clean for a while and you do a shot, you'll feel it for first few shots. Some people just have bad pain from just good ol BB/BA and even get flue. Test is the best but inturn weird.

I realize that....been cycling on/off for years. Never had it like this though.....I'm also not blaming the gear. The guy I got this from is 100% stand up. I have no question that he would never intentionally **** me or anyone else over. But abcess's can still happen, this is an UG product after all. However as I said previously it doesn't appear to be an infection......possibly a sterile abcess or just a bad shot.
