View Full Version : PCT / being OFF
It sux. On my second week of clomid/aromasin. Absolutely no pump. Last week was awesome (felt full/pumped) and suddenly, no pump, feeling flat :(
I trained arms today and lost almost 1.5" since last week.
Surprisingly i'm really strong, better then during the cycle.
I'm losing the hard earned size even when eating more the ON

A loss 1.5" on your arms in a week is very dramatic. Have you dropped 30 pounds of water weight?
I just completed an 8 week pct after a fairly long test, tren cycle and I was pretty darn cocky for the first 4 weeks with regard to keeping strength. Weeks 5-7 were a little annoying (got weaker) and by 8 I was starting to improve on like a normal lifter again using. I didn't notice a significant loss in muscle. I used a fairly standard nolvadex pct.
What was your cycle like that coming off is so dramatic?
6 months of Test E 750mg/week
slowly tapered down to 250mg the last weeks + HCG 1000iu EOD until pct

it's normal, not as strong as first weeks of Test but it's perfectly normal
It's called taking the good with the not so good. Change your mindset. Time off = health improvement. Everyone has to take time away from steroids, and if they don't... someday they'll wish they would have. Read what Mike Matarazzo had to say about it all.

Agreed. Its worth noting too I think that Matarazzo got regular blood work done and was always given a clean bill of health....while getting checked IS a good idea, it doesn't necessarily mean everything is AOK just because you post cycle blood work looks good...
Did chest today. I don't remember last time I pushed so much weight. I was STRONG and would have done a 3h workout. The pump was temporary and rapidly gone :(

I hear ya about the temporary pump....I was off for over 12 weeks, and just got back on....up 9 lbs in 1 week, yes it is true, nothing changed except the addition of nitro....So although it sucks going off, it is necessary, and the kickback is extraordinary when you go back on.....Also when you are done, be sure to get bloodwork to ensure in your health....;)
hey,
From what i've seen, cardio isn't best during pct ?
I eat lot of food trying to "keep" some size and i'm worried about getting fat.
Cardio 3-4 time a week for 30-40 mins low intensity ?

I have done cardio for years, while on cycle, off cycle, PCT----it never really hurts as long as you do not cross over the lines.
Low intensity, keep it below the red line, and you should be fine.
IMO cardio is just as important as weight....even while bulking.
it's good for energy, and cardio also helps in bed ;)
3 sessions of 40 minutes (15 bike, 25 tredmill)
Keeps my BF at 12%, even at 220-230lbs.

i'm up 10lbs :bch
I "gained" back everything I lost during first week of PCT, weird.
The pump is like 60-70% back (obviously not as good as gears)
thanks to those who posted in this thread, appreciated
