Just finished an 8 week Anavar only cycle and thought I would report my finds. First of all I need to go on record saying that I loved this stuff, it really surpassed my wants for a cycle.

I started out weighing 187lbs and had a body fat percentage of 13. First results of the Var came two weeks into my cycle - I was running 40mg a day. I now weigh 196lbs and have a body fat percent of 10, this is the most lean I have ever been. After my cycle I ran two weeks PCT of Clomid - 40mg the first week; 20mg the second week.

I'm going to say it again: I LOVE ANAVAR !!!!!

what was your training/diet like if you don't mind me askin??? Any cardio?

When I am training for hypertrophy I usually do a muscle group a day; 5 exersizes per muscle group - 8 for legs; 6 to 8 reps. I am lifting 4 days a week and do one day of intervel (anaerobic) training and one day of moderate cardio. Also, when I feel a little extra energy I will do light cardio for 15 mins right when I wake up.


As for a diet:

8 am - 50 grams protein,
with 50 grams carb ( Eggs or shake, and quarter cup oatmeal)

10 am - Apple, hand full of almonds

12 pm - Large Chicken breast (45 grams protein)
half cup of brown rice
string beans and carrots

3 pm - 1 Apple
small hand full of raisins
2 granola bars with chocolate chips

5pm - 1 and a half hour workout

6pm - 50 grams protein ( Chicken, Turkey, Lean Beef)
Corn, Carrots, Small salad
1 bun - Will normally have a small serving of simple carbs to replenish glycogen after a workout

9pm - 30 grams of extra lean Turkey sticks! These are amazing for a late night protein snack, great protein to fat ratio on these suckers!


* That about does it, feed back would be awesome as well*


I will also always workout with an energy drink: Simple carbs (sugar) and will add some Sodium.

With a good diet like you have going and some hard training you can gain a few pounds and cut some BF. It is good for getting diced. Not a mass builder but a good harderner and with the right variables will lean you up nice if even run alone at over 30mg in males.

I am skeptical of your results with that diet... gaining 9 pounds and losing 3% BF.. sounds fishy to me.. or mabey it wasnt var..what lab did you use?

That isnt very constructive... I would assume he has no reason to make up lies about his cycle. You ran var too. Did you lie about your results/effects of your cycles? I am happy that the var worked out well for him. Plain and simple.

I wasnt being rude... i think everyone knows that var is not known for putting on weight and that wasnt really a mass building diet. I also know lots of labs cut there var with other substances or are not real var altogether. If that really is var.. im impressed. Dont always assume everyones being negative.

I am on my 3 week off the Var now and so far I havent really noticed any loss in strength or body weight; my mood has been pretty good - although I do miss the hardness that the Var gave me, which makes me sad :(. But aside from that things seem to be fairly stable. I have noticed that I am feeling more hungry though... Not sure if that has anything to do with the Var or not.

Arent you supposed to run Anavar at the beginning of a cycle including test? Can you expect to keep gains after a Var only cycle? .. sounds interesting.

yes you are supposed to run it with test because alone it is not a mass gainer. Also it seems to screw with libido bad after a few weeks run alone. Ppl think it wont shut your shit down but it will. But the gains (recomp, bf loss, maintaince of muscle while dieting) will not be lost at all. Gains are say 90% keepable with a light pct. But its not the kind of anabolic to give you POunds of gain if you know what i mean.

I addition will be test prop at 200mg eod

Should be fun.

Go for it. I'm running Npp right now but dropping it due to acne. Switching to EQ.

nope he's right on the button with the effects of var in regards to how you are useing it... i had a simular experience with ***** var, i did 50mg ED and i used Dymitize Expand with it, along with pre and post workout products and i went from 184lbs to 198lbs in 55 days... i also kept stength and size gains even 4 weeks out after the cycle, then, i stupidily had to cut weight for a fight and stopped useing the creatine and the pre/post supps and cut my diet in half, i cut to 182lb in 10 days, i mean serioulsy i spent 2 days pissing every 10min! then i ended up tearing my pec muscle doing bench (only a type II tear, 20%), because i was still lifting the same weight as i was pre-cut, so indeed this ****ed up my fight... so my advice is, if you cut weight really fast, then don't be an idiot and keep lifting heavy, ease back into it and keep the reps high for awhile! now i'm back on the var from xxx this time, and its just as good, except i'm not doing any creatine with it and just doing arginine, and i'm at like 9% BF and not gaining a single pound, with strength going through the roof, also it has aided in healing my chest... so i must say, that i am a very big fan of var and i have treid it for both bulking and cutting and it can tottaly be used for both, it all depends on your diet and training in the end... var is #1 in my books for pre compitition sporting events because you can control its effects and tailor them to you likeing... however, i can't ****ing wait to do my test and EQ cycle, nothing gets you more jacked then injectable's!

hey it deffinetly an't no gram of test a week, but for someone looking for specific attributes in regards to either sports, endurance or strength increase then you would only be foolish to bash this AAS.

I am under the impression that more is better with this compound. But a lot of cash is required to do so.

I agree 100%
It also clears your system pretty quick, but the strength gain and body fat loss can last as long as you're willing to maintain them.

50mg min and 80mg is about right,anything more is not cost effective cause ledgit Var is $$$$.again just my opinion.

Anavar (oxandrolone) it is a very mild, low androgen. Also very rarely caused any if at all adverse reactions. It is primarily used to promote strength and hardness of the muscles. Athletes claim this drug is unsurpassed in it's ability to promote strength without water weight gains. Oxandrolone will not aromatize at any dosage. This makes it ideal for roid users with potential hypertension complications as well as pre-existing gyno. Ox was not known as a steroid to "bulk Up" on yet it was used as part of a bulking stack, for example it could be used with Tests or D-bol etc to accent these highly andrgenic compounds

Also, I love how your "One and a half hour work out" only lasts from 5pm til 6pm, (or do you eat chicken and a bun in between sets)?-I'm just sayin'

hey okay Im definately glad I came to this forum. I've been searching for advice pre-var for the first time. I ama woman, 33 yrs old and in the best shape of my life. however Im stuck where I am, been doing it with very little advice from a PT friend of mine who only has time to advise me a little as I go, been reading like a mad person about EVERYTHING fitness for a year now. Im a pro photographer for a living & shoot a lot of fitness models, I try to get the skinny from them about var but dont wanna bring it up if I dont feel 100% comfortable that it wont insult them. Ya can't just come out and ask someone if they use it afterall.....anyway, those who have been honest with me are saying the same thing.....if i want what I want i will get it faster & better with Anavar and that ALL pros use it and if thy say they dont chances are they are liars.

so you get a number of folks telling you that plus the plataue Im stuckin now, you tend to conclude that Anavar is the answer. Im told it has minimal side effects, not as toxic to the liver as other "products", its highly used by women, and it's an awesome product.

so that said.....are these claims true? if so how does one get some to try for herself? I'm getting fed up, not giving up by any means, but just frustrated with how slow things are going now.

I started in 2008 was 199lbs with 40.8%bf. today I am 141lbs with 17.2 bf% and feel amazing. I'm officially addicted. BUT I want ABS, I want bigger arms and i want to build my ass! yeah...my ass dissapeared! OI this sucks! lol

any help or advice wud B GREAT!

hey foxgirl... sorry to say but var should be the last resort in achieving your goals.
you should start by posting what you eat during the day in the For Women diet section, our female memebers are very knowlegable and most of them compete.

that being said, when you have exhaused the diet and cardio route in the attempt to reach your goal, then you can go and try anabolics.

a further note, this board isn't a place to obtain said substances, its actually against the rules toask for them/ask for help in obtaining them. it would be more effective on your part to ask some of the models you work with.

Yeah you bet ARG from back in 91, just found it in the garage after a # of yrs actually, lol...also was curious as to the feed back from it after all these yrs.

...my bro and I actually run for 1/2 hr in between.....why does that bother ya bro? "thedonald" lol

I am coning to the end of my cycle and stopped the VAR, so now test only, and my strength is dropping. The var does help the strength for sure. Now if they could just do something about the price.
