Im kinda bored with the heavy routines. Need a change. Thinking of going with a lot of core training, and maybe weights 1 day a week. Im sitting at 203 at 5-8 right now, about 16% BF. Id like to hit 180 lean and mean. I know diet is key, but leave that out of this thread for now. Im interested in training techniques that you may have used that are interesting, challenging, make you harden and lean. Some say P-90, what do you say?

I think its good to change things up every once in a while... just dont forget the big lifts that help your core, squats, deads, standing presses... right now i only lift 3 times a week, each time i lift i choose one compound movement per bodypart and then one "full body" movement. EX: Flat bench press
Barbell Row
Push press
Back squat
Cable crunches
Clean and jerk
OR
Incline DB bench press
pull ups
Standing militery press
Deadlifts
decline crunches
Kettlebell swings
I do 4 sets of everything...Hope this helped a bit... I think its good to keep your body guessing.
You can go high reps, low rest. Great pumps, but you'll feel extremely week.
I've done some p90x it's a pretty good workout, you might enjoy that too. Pick and choose what you want because it's a lot of work. 1.5hours 7 days a week (maybe 6?).
Yoga is like 2 hours long.
