Protein bars - Yes they are crap, but any half decent ones?

I'm gonna be travelling for 3 weeks in Asia next month and I've accepted that my diet will be far from ideal for those 3 weeks, but I'd like to bring some protein bars with me..

Does anyone know of any protein bars that aren't filled with shit (gelatin, HFCS, etc)?

pprotein edge. 26 grams of protein, only 7 grams of carbs. not too shabby.

the two best tasting protein bars are oh yeah, and supreme protein. I know supreme uses sugar alcohols witch are suspossed to be zero impact carbs.. and both have 30 grams protein and taste amazing.. like having desert.

For sure... But the Bio-X bars were well rated recently here too.

tried a many differnt types..doctors carb rite, costco brand bars, power protein, and allmax isoflex. I really only enjoyed the allmax isoflex bars but they are a little pricey. Also all the bars contain a high amount of sugars and fats. Not a huge deal if your not dieting but it is a good choice if your on the go and cant absolutly take your cup with some WPI already in it

Whenever I travel I pack a 5lbs of whey in my bag. If you want more nutriments, once you get there get some eggs, milk, oatmeal, peanut butter and bananas. Mix everything in a paste with some whey and eat. And try to find a gym to go to once or twice, it won't hurt

For sure... But the Bio-X bars were well rated recently here too.

The Bio-X bars have 0 sugar, 10G fiber and 32G protein... decent tasting and excellent ingredient list... overall best quality bars I have ever tried... Supreme bars win in the taste dep't, however they are loaded with garbage...

I've tried the biox bars but I'm still confused as to where the 10g of fiber comes from. I like them but it sounds too good to be true and might be a marketting gimmick?
