im hearing different dosages from different people. some say 5 grams with breakfast, 5 with preworkout another 5 post workout and 5 more before bed. then some people are saying all you need is 5 postworkout and on non training days take that 5 with breakfast. if somebody who has experience with this products can clearify the dosage or what worked well for them, it would be greatly appreciated.

The accepted way to dose is 10 days of a "loading phase" 10-20 grams post work-out, then after you are done that, 5 grams Post workout. Everyone does it differant. I use 5 grams. I have done 5g before workout 5g after. I didnt notice much of a differance.

3 grams pre, 5 grams post. thats what i use. Really man it doesnt matter. Experiment with it and see what gives you the best results. its not like ur gonna overdose lol.

A kilo of the unbranded CM should only cost ~$20. I do ~5g ED, with carbs at either breakfast or split Pre/PWO.

CreaPure only creatine mono for me... 5 grams/day, was taking pre but switchin to post because pre drink has other creatine already in it.

I feel the same way. I have yet to try the "loading phase" but studies prove it to be the best way to the fastest Creatine uptake.

well you only have to do the loading phase if you havent had creatine ever, or in a while... if you've been steadily consuming creatine for weeks or months, your body is already up to the level it needs, there'd be no point doing a loading phase.
i take breaks from creatine every once in a while, and i never do the loading phase.. i just start drinking it again at 5 grams/day.. after a couple weeks its back up to par.

For sure. The first time I did creatine it was a loading phase. Talk about instant gratification. Gained like 10lbs in a week or may 12 days, but the pump and fullness got me hooked. This was back in the day when it costed like 40$ us for 300 grams... I remember ****ing up the loading phase and on my first day was using tablespoons instead of teaspoons. That really messed up my stoamch. Imagine taking 75 grams of creatine in one day!
I think the general concensus on loading vs not is loading gives results in 5-10 days, while taking 5 grams on non workout days and 10 on workout days may take 21 days for results. And if you have a sensitive stomach, don`t do the loading.

Ouch 75 grams, that would blow out an O-ring....
I tried creatine about 10 years ago and made me sick. Tried phosphate and monohydrate.
Used purple K a few years ago.
I'm lucky enough to get to try LG Sciences which has creatine and No2 in it. Really hope it doesn't make me sick :/

good post, I agree with this statement. from what i can recall you only need 2-3g/day to maintain a maximum level of muscle creatine (about 150mmol/kg dry muscle) after loading.
for the guys who experience stomach problems...have you tried just taking 5g/day without loading? u could split it up in 2 doses and prob not have any issues and get the same result

K.I.S.S like b2j says im your age and similar stats and i do 3 pre 5 post and thats fine. Yes you should load and some like it before bed but dont over complicate things its just creatine.
-screw all the fancy shit. Ive spent hundreds on sizeon, synthesize, cellmass, purple k, kreakyln.on and on and on...NOTHING WORKS like the monohydrate and its cheap.. Try allmax..thats what i use. Its pure its cheap and it works..
