TRI-CITIES STRONGEST MAN CONTEST

The contest will be held on Christmas Way September 12th, 2009 in Coquitlam BC at 2798 Lougheed highway. It will be in a parking lot behind a strip mall where the Reflex store is located.
Contest starts at 11:00am, but competitors should be there at around 10:00am to fill out a registration form and to choose your height for the Yoke Walk. Also, there will be a quick overview and orientation of the events. Entry Fee will be 25.00. Let me know if you're in and i will start a competitors list.
This is a novice level contest that is intended to draw new athletes to the sport of strongman, but open to everyone to compete and have fun in.
I have also decided to have an open womens' class as well.

Event 1 Medley -- Sled Drag, Tire Flip, and Keg Carry x 2 x 50ft
W -- 150/no tire/75 + 100
LW -- 250/550/165 + 200
HW -- 300/550/200 + 260
Event 2 Pressing Medley -- River Stone, Keg, Axle, Log
W -- 95 # 8" Log Press only! (1 clean and then rep em out)
LW -- 135/165/190/215
HW -- 135/190/220/250
Event 3 Farmers Walk -- Furthest Distance Wins (1 drop 15 sec rest, Turns At Every 70ft. 17" pick with 45's and a 1 1/2" grip)
W -- 110
LW -- 220
HW -- 270
Event 4 Yoke -- Best Time or Distance 80ft Unlimited Drops
W -- 300
LW -- 500
HW -- 625
Event 5 ***** Stones -- to 56"
W -- 1 stone 120# 14" over 50" bar for reps
LW -- 200/230/245/260/285
HW -- 220/245/260/285/315
All events have a 90 sec time limit except for the farmers which is strictly for distance.
