I think its a great idea. I do it once or twice a year and find i come back a bit stronger and much more motivated.

How long were you on a bombs for? Yeah, I take a week off every 6-12 weeks always. After 20, you surely deserve a week off.

A week off is good no doubt..... but for me personally i find 4-5 days of complete rest is perfect.. a week is too much time for me, and i get out of the swing of things mentally

Me too. I go swimming anyhow, but I've found it helps my circulation and loosens up all the shit in my arm pits.
I take a week off every 2 to 3 months. I get way to stiff if I don't.

Actually I`m the same, I prefer the 4-5 day rest period. But then when I restart my split, not every muslce will get the same amount of rest. Yes, I`m very anal about things. The week off is long when you train every bodypart once a week because by the time you train that muscle group again, it`s been 2 weeks since it`s been workded. But to me it`s just part of the process.

i dont think so. maybe if youre natty u might need a full week. roids make you recover really quickly. two-three days should be enough of a break, anything more then that is just slacking imo.
eatting more can also help with recovery.

LOL true dat man ^^^^^^ I do the wk off thing without any re-persecution while either on or off....I also learned over the yrs that one can over train while on also :)

LOL at this last post. Sorry to shit on you dude, but just because you're on steroids doesn't mean you can't take a week off. That's crazy talk.
I take 1 month off, clean off of weights after every 6 months. I want to be able to like, move when I get older. My tendons, ligaments, and joints need that time off. Or i'll just end up injured, and miserable. A lot of pro's take 4 months off every year. Train spiratically and eat way less. Guys on Steroids NEED MORE RECOVERY TIME. Because they generally train heavier, harder, and their bodies need a break from steroids, incredibly high protein meals, and the life. Gunter schlerkemp, Ronnie Coleman, King Kamali. They all do this.
Dude take your week off, hell take 2 weeks off. Think of recovery time as part of your overall success and longevity in the sport. I don't even look at weights. I do cardio, that is all. Wow, 3 days off and your slacking? Crazyness.
u take a month off while on gear? lol ok whatever.

i didnt like the eq in comparison to deca....my body reacted pretty nicely to deca over eq the pumps were there but i dunno not my choice over the two...since they always get compared i tried it out this time...oh i had my last shot a few days ago...so pct is coming soon just not yet...

im just finishing my week off and i cant wait to get back at it on Monday! i find a week off every few months gets me refreshed and gives my joints and tendons some time to recuperate.
