Hi everybody this is my first post. I’ve been a natural lifter on and off for 15 year. I never bothered to watch my diet. I’ve gain some muscle/strength during this time but I’ve also accumulated a lot of fat as well. I started to diet 5 month ago.

I started my diet @290lbs and 30%+ Body fat with the long term goal (1 year) of getting down to 10% body fat. My secondary goal is to keep up my strength and LBM during this process. My diet is basically a ketogenic diet with about 250g protein and 2000 cal. This is the only type of diet I can stick to because it shuts off my hunger and keep up my energy. I occasionally do a carb loading day but not very often because my sugar craving can get carried away. My supp are creatin/fish oil/whey/vit/eca stack. My training is a 5 day split with some cardio eod.

It's been roughly 20 week, I am down to 246 Lbs. The problem is my strength is down on most lift 10-15%. I probably lost 10 lbs of lbm. I still have 35 lbs of unwanted BF.

My current plan is to continue my diet but also do 2 weeks on/ 4 off cycles (ala Bill Roberts) ( 4 cycles total) with the goal of regaining and maintaining my pre diet strength and lbm. I believe I’ve found a decent domestic ugl. I plan to use approx 1g/week total of test/tren/t-bol. I figure these short cycles should keep sides to a minimum. I know its not the ideal cycles for major muscle gains but that is not my current goals.

I welcome your comment/ ideas

Strength is overrated. If you were 300 and now are 250, then I would consider the relative (ie pound for pound) strength as being more important. Even if you just lose fat and maintain muscle, you are still going to lose strength eventually. "Mass moves mass"

I just want to go from fat and strong to lean and strong. Don't need to carry all that unfunctionnal weight.

You got to serve 1 master, lean down or be strong! Its rare to see trainees cut down bf and maintain strength through out. It is possible for some genetically gifted individuals and veterans on this game but as you can see even competitors who diet down expect strength loss during the prep phase.

I think you could lean down to 10% and recover on your lifts after, its just mental sometimes. Good luck on your journey!

I wouldnt go with the 2 weeks on 4 weeks off cycle's. I would think more long term, as fat loss takes a while, so plan a course of 16-20 weeks and you could change compounds half way thru the cycle. I am not a longer cycle fan and I like to change compounds mid cycle usually, but in your case is an exception in terms of length.

You could hypothetically run EQ or Primobolan for the duration. First half Cypionate then switch into Prop/tren along with the EQ or Primobolan for the 2nd half of the cycle as you get leaner. You could add Cytomel and Clen in there the last 10 weeks as well. Since it's your first cycle I dont see a need for any orals, but if you were to add I'd use Winstrol 50mg ED the last 6 weeks but may be overkill.

As for training and diet you seem to know what your doing so far, obviously from the weight loss you've made already. But one thing I would try to keep is the refeed day as it will spike your metabolism into high gear and your body will burn more fat, just try to keep fats to a minimum on this day. I may seem to yourself counter productive but it's a fact that it works. Check out Pratorians Q&A thread he has his guys on Keto diets and theres some refeed days posted in there where you can get an idea of what we're talking about here...hope you like french toast and/or pancake, lol.

Thanks for the input.
For compounds, I only have access to tren, test, tbol and var. How you use these with the purpose of losing fat?
And yes I do love french toast and pancakes...there're part of the reason for this diet.

Right now I'm losing approx 2 lbs/week. How much more can I expect to lose with cytomel and Clen.

Hard to say, but 2lbs a week is perfect I wouldnt try to lose any more than that bud.
