When will we get the official list of the Mr. Olympia 2009 contestants? Anyone have the list?

Do not have an actual list, but Dexter Jackson, Jay Cutler, Phi Heath, Dennis Wolf, Toney Freeman and Melvin Anthony are all qualified as the top 6 from 2008.
Of course, Fouad Abiad and Ben Pakulski have qualified.
Others include Dennis James, Hide Yamagishi, Silvio Samuel, Martin Kjellstrom, Moe El Moussawi, and not to mention 3 guys who did not compete in 2008, namely Kai Greene, Victor Martinez and Branch Warren. And possibly Ronny Rockel, but there was talk he was dropping to the 202 division. And Markus Ruhl could get on stage one more time. Markus had said NY Pro would be his last competition, but with the qualification in hand, who knows?
Know I am forgetting others. This will be an amazing event.

Great! Last I heard, Evan is sitting out the O and will wait for 2010 Arnold. Wise decision on his part, I think.

Just becuase someone qualifies it doesnt neccesarily mean they are going to compete 100% am i right. Becuase i heard on the Q and A at MD that although Fouad qualified he may not compete and go back to the offseason.

Correct, Tavi. Qualification gives you the option to compete. But you do not have to. Victor and Kai couldn't compete last year because of injury. Phil Heath was qualified in 2006 and 2007 but chose to wait till last year, when he felt he was ready. And same thing with Evan passing this year.

I am a little confused here, but Anthony Melvin?? Is he not Canadian? I could have swore that he was.
I cannot wait to see ma main man Jay, and also Warren, Dennis and Dexter---these guys will destroy the stage :)

Fouad will not be competing at the O this year. Smart move of him. Take the extra couple months to grow instead of continuing to diet.
I hope Ben P skips as well. He got a 3rd place gift in Tampa with that back of his. He definitely needs a lot of work on his back. Front he is amazing for a young pro but that back needs tons of ball busting work.
