Ok, Yes, I looked it up, there are billions of threads on this topic. But Doesn't answer my question. If someone were on cycle, and donated blood, would the blood levels of the testosterone drop?

Better yet, put it this way. Say someone donated blood, should they put another 50mg, 100mg, 500mg back into their body to make up for anything lost in the blood given?

Yes I know it lowers RBC, yes I know the benifits. But would dontating blood "hinder gains" because you're losing hormone in the blood? May sound like a dumbass question, but I sure can't find a solid answer out in the www.

That's actually kind of odd. They do test the blood for HIV at least right? :p

they test for all the major viruses and std's that are found in blood.......I always drop orals and any other aas besides test at least 2 weeks prior to donating....but I have been on test for 5 donations.......not huge doses here.....maybe 400mg/wk max when ive gone in for a donation......you do have the option selecting the "dont use my blood" sticker they dont know but take your blood anyways......

If you take steroids then you are not eligible to donate blood.....sure you can lie but what would be the point? IMO its not worth the risk of putting other people at risk taking and receiving your blood if you lead a high risk lifestyle...If you are injecting UG gear.....there is no way you can assure its sterility.....put it this way...if your child needed a transfusion would you want them to use the blood of someone that has used UG injectables for several yrs.........I know it wouldn't be my first choice

the only part of the blood that gets boiled is the plasma.....red cells and platelets are not

I donate blood on a cycle.. just make sure to tell the nurse and not lie to her about it.. the thing they usually worry about is sharing needles.. so just make sure you tell them you use fresh needles etc..

well....I work for CBS so I think I know what I am talking about.......they may take your blood but I can guarantee you that it is not used and is discarded shorty after its collected

It's kinda pointless, from personal experience working with the collectors, if you tell them you are injecting something currently (which you should) they more often then not say nothing, but they will mark your donations and they aren't supposed to be used. Regardless of the injection, I believe their rules are within the last 6 months? It follows along the same lines of Tattoo's, which I believe they ask you wait a couple of months.

It's a precaution only obviously, but it is OTHER peoples health.

Hema Quebec won't let people who have used needles donate blood as far as I know. Gay people can't donate blood either.

I really doubt they just throw it out. Donated blood is used for many, many things beside the straight blood for surgery and transfusions. It would be unethical to take blood and "throw it out"
