I spent many years as a bartender and I tip cab drivers........people who make 875K a year should too. Who even WANTS 20 cents change? I don't want any change from any transaction smaller than a quarter. No matter where I am, getting groceries, gas, renting movies, anywhere I go I leave the dimes and nickles or put them in the donation jar. I pretend pennies don't even exist.
If I pour a drink for a customer and they leave less than a quarter, I sweep it off the bar onto the floor.
What a ****ing moron.

is it da roid rage?
Some of the reader comments on the Globe and Mail said the same thing.
His name isn't Roth-Kane, Kane-stein, Kanovitz, so this is quite surprising.

come on. we've all wanted to punch out a cabby before. In fact, every TO cabby I've always wanted to punch out lol
seems the cabbie's lawyer is downplaying the incident and says it was highly exaggerated....

I used to work at Willie's Meter Shop on King st in the early 80's.Worked as a tech repairing two-way radios. You go into the cab, take out the radio to check it out.EVERY cabbie has a weapon of some kind...

I wonder why? Must have agreed to something out of court if he doesnt make a big deal of it? Who knows... Athletes get away with murder (pun intended, Donte Stallworth)
