Anyone get ACNE from HCG?? I have never had acne, not when I was teen, never. I am getting off my current test cycle (or rather, debating whether to blast again) and I am breaking out on my back (mild, but more than I am used to) and on my chest (very mild) but again, NEVER had acne before.
this the same for any others?

It can get worse once you finish.

most of the time, at least in the case of forum members, acne is caused by overproduction of oil from the sebaceous gland.
Washing helps to clean off the oil that accumulates, but won't directly fix the problem.

Ive got it after a cycle, not exactly sure if its normal but it does happen.

It is medline... kind of a reliable source of info... im pretty sure they arent saying roll in mud for a month. I think they are stressing that the problem comes from the inside, and there are very few "topical" solutions that do much. Personally, the best topical is the peroxide, it helps kill the bacteria. However, the over productive seb glands and the clumping cells are tough to get to.

about the dirty skin, obviously if you never washed you would have skin problems, but hormonal changes are the biggest problem (that's why teenagers get them, not because they stop washing their face)
btw: i use tea tree oil and found that pretty good product to use

Yeah it does the trick, you just have to give it a chance to work...takes awhile to show its full effects but I love the stuff.

Ok, two remedies here.
#1 b5, Are we talking about vitamin B5?
#2 I've heard of this teatree oil treatment. How does it work? Do you dilute the oil cuz' it's pretty strong stuff right?
Help us learn guys.

yeah pantothenic acid, vit b5.
Doesn't b5 cause hair loss if you get too much of it?
I have been managing any acne by taking ACV capsules when I start to notice a breakout and it seems to keep it in submission.

I thought Vitamin A was used to treat acne? from my understanding Accutane is a controlled derivative of vitamin A with much less side effects and w/ added potency against acne (anti inflammatory properties, namely).
not a healthy choice though..
"Excessive intake of vitamin A may cause acute or chronic toxicity. "
"Chronic toxicity in older children and adults usually develops after doses of > 33,000 µg (100,000 IU)/day have been taken for months. In infants who are given 6,000 to 20,000 µg (20,000 to 60,000 IU)/day of water-miscible vitamin A, evidence of toxicity may develop within a few weeks. Birth defects have been reported in the children of women receiving 13-cis-retinoic acid (isotretinoin) for skin conditions during pregnancy (see Drugs in Pregnancy in Ch. 249).
Massive doses (50,000 to 120,000 µg or 150,000 to 350,000 IU) of vitamin A or its metabolites are given daily to persons with globular acne. Although the treatment is effective, it puts the patient at risk for vitamin A toxicity.
Although carotene is metabolized in the body to vitamin A at a slow rate, excessive ingestion of carotene does not cause vitamin A toxicity but produces carotenemia (carotene blood levels > 250 µg/dL [> 4.65 µmol/L]). This condition is usually asymptomatic but may lead to carotenosis, in which the skin (but not the sclera) becomes deep yellow, especially on the palms and soles. Carotenosis may also occur in diabetes mellitus, myxedema, and anorexia nervosa, possibly from a further reduction in the rate of conversion of carotene to vitamin A."
"Researchers are now examining a potential new risk factor for osteoporosis: an excess intake of vitamin A.
"Animal, human, and laboratory research suggest an association between greater vitamin A intake and weaker bones (33, 34). "
"What is the health risk of too much vitamin A?
Hypervitaminosis A refers to high storage levels of vitamin A in the body that can lead to toxic symptoms. There are three major adverse effects of hypervitaminosis A:
birth defects,
liver abnormalities,
reduced bone mineral density that may result in osteoporosis (1)
"
"Tolerable intake, adult, 3000 ug or 10,000 IU "
Conclusion,
Following a do it yourself vitamin A megadose regime you may want to research a do it yourself liver transplat regime.

Its not news to a lot of us, but for some it is. For me, im just trying out different things cause it got bad this time. I dont believe there are any other effective ways of treating it other than internally, especially once its gotten bad. Im not sure, but i do believe that Accutane is the only real silver bullet however its toxic. Id like to know more about other things that can be taken orally that may help slow down the sebaceous glands and help reduce the inflammation, as well as help the cells clump less.

usually for most at the start and at the end....when hormone levels are fluctuating. the body like things to be stable.
